TBH, I don't think Chrom is THAT bad, and him getting a top 8 or a few more before the game ends is reasonable for me. With how ledge-trapping is preferred over edge-guarding nowadays, it helps characters like Chrom who are pretty susceptible to edge-guards

Town is by far chrom's best stage and it really showed against aka

Mr. R sitting at his computer in Mexico remembering one of the earliest Ultimate European majors... thinking to himself... "Am I a joke to you?"

SLASH SLASH

"ANYTHING CAN CHANGE!!"

You should def make a video about Meido, zss in top 8 that isn't Marss, idk if it was a major, B+ I think but he had some banger sets

woww! This was just incredible!

This result is encouraging me to go back to maining Chrom. Lax is goated!!

This feels like the Dark Wizzy of Chroms. Nothing crazy, just very strong neutral and opportunistic play

Chrom is actually one of the best character on stage, the speed, power, suffocating for the opponent.
Even his recovery can be not that bad with his good airdodge.
But should be really careful against counter of course. But I think he has many tools to arrive very far in competition.

Can you cover Reno’s run? Before facing Lax, he had to beat Yamamaction. After dropping to losers side to Lax, he made it to top 8 loser’s side by beating Acola with just Byleth, then took a set off Taikei with Sephiroth. Pretty good run for I think 6th place.

I really want to see mkleo pickup chrom! I feel like he would destroy neutral!

Omg there was hope over the weekend!

Huh, I thought that didn't Chrom even get a top8 placement in the beginning of Ultimate before he was nerfed? But I looked at his update history and I have been completely misremembering things, the only thing that has ever been nerfed was his Soaring Slash's sacrificial KO. I could've sworn that he had got more nerfs, but he was just overhyped and fell off.
Finishing a match with a last stock Soaring Slash meteor was pretty busted though.

As a Byleth main, I'd rather face a Roy over a Chrom any day~~~

I believe Rivers did make a major top 8 with Chrom, though whether it was retroactively a major by Lumirank standards I have no idea.

OMG LAX MY BBY CHROM RPZ IM SO HAPPY PLS GIVE CREDIT TO THIS GOD

Thumbnail looks like Reed Richards, stretchy arm and everything

No no, we need to talk about a sephiroth in top 12...that character is MIIIIDDDDD (polarizing for the dlc characters he came out with). So I find that a lot more interesting and surprising.

Yo lets go chrom

Crazy to think Chrom got top 8, Tameigo won, and Acola got 9th all at the same major
