The E-P1 was my first love when it comes to cameras, and I always come back to it. I’m curious what the first camera was for you that really got you into photography? And do still use it sometimes?

Bought and ep1 coz of your photos from way back. And I couldn't be happier. 🎉

watching from indonesia, love mate

Great to see you making video again! Bart-Jan. I also keep my E-P1 and use it from time to time. It's the OG and it has some magical soft texture in the image. I like it a lot as well.

Found one that Ive been sitting on ordering it until I found this video it’s exactly what I like taking pictures of. Ordered it halfway through the video fantastic video Cheers 🍻

Obrigado!!!

Great to have you back, that was fun to watch. So did I miss it or didnt you talk about your new gear? Always curious about that 😂 my First real one was a lumix Leica with a fixed Zoomlens. However my first love was the Canon 30D which I sold for newer gear.

Thank you, Bart-Jan. Because of several of your introduction videos, I also fell deeply in love with the Olympus PEN series, and it has become the camera I carry with me every day.

At the same time, I truly appreciate the photos and videos you create — they allow viewers like us to feel a sense of inner calm. I look forward to more of your future video sharing, no matter what equipment you use.

Hi Bart-Jan, great video. Informative and relaxing to go along with the walk in the beautiful nature, almost asmr meats photography 🙂

Great to see you back!  Personally, I would love too see a video about you're expansion into different gear.  I still do mostly M43 but have branched out to full frame DSLRs.  Love experimenting!

Hi Bart-Jan….the EP1 was the first MFT camera I bought in 2015, regrettably I sold it in 2023 to fund other purchases. My ‘small’ camera of choice is now the Olympus EP7 as an edc and I have the EM1 mkiii for when I’m using the larger lenses and vintage/ legacy lenses. I have some other MFT camera bodies which are lesser used now. I do have the 17mm 2.8 but the focusing motor on my copy is quite noisy. I couple my EP7 with the Lumix 12-32 kit lens and the Lumix 20mm 1.7. Good to have you back on the screen again , I often revisit your earlier videos

Loved the video man! What settings do you run on your EP1? I want to give them a go as your photos look great!
