I love my f5000lfp! I have found a few issues but i let pecron know and they legit put out an update and fixed it. Got an 50000 expansion battery too. Worth it!

I was recently deciding between these two units. I almost purchased the pecron f5000, but Costco had a deal over Memorial Day weekend on the delta pro ultra with two batteries (12kwh) for $4,500. Delivered yesterday with batteries that were manufactured less than 90 days ago!! I’m very happy with my decision!

Bro I wish they were still 1900

@snuckyr 3 months ago

would love to see pecron come out with a 50A hub to tie two F5000 together. Currently, the EF DPU still has the edge but I wouldn't be surprised if Pecron came after them in that regard next

I find the comments interesting. The only guarantee in the solar business is products will change and get better for hopefully less money. I look at solar component investments through an ROI lens. I am usually looking for the least $$$ that solves my problems. For example, I use a Victron Energy Autotransformer. When I need a quick 240 split phase power in an outage, I plug my generator into the transformer and run everything I need. For $500 does a great job.

Is pecron UL listed?

@jean-marcfiliatrault266 3 months ago (edited)

You guys are from Ontario, Canada. Therefore, you know fully well that this product is not CSA or ULC certified. Heck, it’s not even fully UL certified. Consequently, you can’t use it as a home back-up system. Fine when used out of your home. Otherwise, you’re on your own when it comes to your home insurance. That’s probably the main reason why it’s so cheap…

@paulaxton72 3 months ago

Simple solution run the AC inverter from another power station and plug into the DPU. I know its kind of wasteful energy wise, but you dont have to have a custom batteries.

Can you connect 2 pecron f5000 together?

@beanstalk1023 3 months ago

Hey as a current E3600LFP owner does it make sense to upgrade with this station vs buying another E3600LFP with 240 dongle?

I have a DOU uktra with two stirage batteries I live off grid and i have ran it for almost a year and it has worked perfect except for a generator surge that tripped the charging input. Customer trouble shooting over the phone i just had to turn the incoming solar disconnect to off and back on and unit dropped the error code and everything working perfect. Charges fast with 10000 watt inverter generator in just over an hour and so impressed with the charging speed especially in a snow storm. Usually charge it with generator as in winter the 3400 watts of panels dont do much during the day. But summer they charge up before noon I would consider the pecron as a back up system though but currently using my old lead acid 24 volt system as a backuo and rarely have used that.

This really is an incredibly unfair comparison regarding specs ... The EcoFlo system he is talking about is like $10k. If you already have other Pecron products and extra batteries ... you are way ahead, IMHO.

@RonH-mr4gf 3 months ago

Do you recommend a certain surge protector or power strip for large power station’s?

@robinlawson69 3 months ago

Too bad it's not UL listed as a whole. If it burns my house down that might be bad.

I wish they sell pecron in Canada Amazon. Looks good price vs what they offer

@bman0367 3 months ago

Hi... There is a typo on the 20amp online UPS receptacles label... Did they ever correct that...? Seems like a great unit though, really good comparison... Can you please tell me, what type of feet did you use to replace the wheels...? Thanks...

I have watched several videos on Pecron vs Echoflo. I am sold on Pecron. The solar ability to charge so quickly vs. Echoflo is what did it for me. Price as well. Thank you.
