In this review, I share my experience using the Leica 35mm f/1.2 Noctilux and how it compares to other Noctilux lenses I've shot for years.

I've used the 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux for almost a decade, and the 35mm challenged my expectations in ways I didn't anticipate.

This video focuses on real-world use - size, handling, minimum focusing distance, depth of field behavior, flare, chromatic aberration, and how those design choices affect the way you actually shoot.

The photos supporting your video are insanely great. Love the blur in the Porsche movement shots. It felt like a classic Porsche ad from the 90s. Digging the coffee house vibes on the tunes too. Great job.

Thanks very much for an informative & inspiring video.
These excellent pictures speak volumes, if only they could each be worth £1000 instead of words, then that’d help us all afford the lens! I was lucky to briefly try one in store in London yesterday and ever since I’ve been scheming to buy. Noctilux line has never previously been of any interest to me, but this 35mm feels compelling.

Lovely review from experienced Nocti user, you show the weight as 365g at 1.45 mins, Leica site shows approx 416g?, I am wondering why a difference! You are clearly passionate about the Nocti's... :)

Your 50mm f/0.95 ASPH Noctilux-M seems desirable rendering, & including Natural Balance perspectives ... The young lady up close headshot has Noctilux M35mm 1.2 lens noticeable perspective distortion...
