Man Kai, when I first started digital photography (D80 > D700), almost 20 years ago, you were there helping me chosing lenses and gear. Now, I more or less quit, never went into mirrorless, still using my loved D700 with primes and 24-70 only from time to time, and you are STILL there.
You must really be dedicated to what you are doing.
Btw. you just look the same as you did so many years ago.

Also, I started to love Hong Kong because of your tours across the city together with Lok.
DigitalRev the channel was called if I remember correctly.

Keep up the good work, you are a legend.

Finally, a Leica review that remembers the Leica M5 exists

Leica m5? A man of class, I see!

I work part time in a Canadian camera store. Yesterday one of our customers walked in with the Noctilux 35 1.2, one of the first in North America. What a beauty! He let me take a few frames with it and I was grateful for the experience.

I never was more happier for someone camera to break, those film test shots are peak!

Every video from Kai makes me just happy and when it is on something about Leica, it's even better

Wow these are seriously some of the best shots I’ve seen from Kai. Love the street style and colors of this muted urban environment. Maybe film suits you better than digital, Kai

4:21 I remember those photos were from the DigitalRev days. I was so excited when the day that video came out since I really liked noctilux back then.

As a film shooter it’s nice to finally see a lens like this tested. It would be nice to see Portra 160 or Ektar 100 - the fine grain color films really show off what these lenses can do.

The Wyclef Jean joke 😂

Watching like i’ll ever have money to buy this beauty 😂

I just realized .. it's 13 years ago, I discovered that pink channel

Love your vids since Digi Rev ;) I have a sweet spot for the 50 1.2

Leather pants of the lens world 😂

love the images, Kai! You've made me want to give Delta another go

Really liking the results I've seen from the Noctilux 35. Now if only Leica would reissue the Noctilux 50 f1.

The way a lens review should be: on a classic camera! Loved it!

Experiencing the Leica Leitzphone is one of my dreams.

wow, i didnt expect to see digitalrev TV's shots from the past in here. XD i remember that 0.95 review

My Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 viii is crisp at f1.2 when you nail focus
