Shehzad Khan, son of legendary Hindi film villain, Ajit, gives an exclusive interview to Vickey Lalwani. Shehzad looks back at his father’s journey and his iconic films, like Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Kaalicharan, Zanjeer, Naya Daur, amongst others.

Did you know why Ajit refused the iconic Amitabh Bachchan starrer Deewaar? Do you know why he retired at his peak and stopped acting for a while? Was it because of how late stars like Rajesh Khanna and Shatrughan Sinha would come on the sets? How did Dev Anand convince him to come back to films?

Was Ajit the same in real life, suave and sophisticated, as he was on screen? What was the contribution of Ajit in bringing Salim Khan, iconic screenwriter and father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, to cinema? What was the friendship like between Ajit and Salim Khan? Did Ajit help his son Shehzad when he was starting his film career? How did the career of Kumar Gaurav, son of Rajendra Kumar, who was a close friend of Ajit, influence him?

Shehzad talks about how he is planning to make a biopic on his legendary father. What was Shehzad’s experience while working in the Aamir Khan and Salman Khan film Andaz Apna Anna? Did the Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon fight on set create any issues? How did Ajit react when Shehzad mimicked him in Andaz Apna Apna? How did Smriti Irani get her first break in television? Do you know why Shehzad stopped acting in Taarak Mehta?

All this and more in this unmissable conversation.
