Andiroo, you really need to check out their videos of Daft Punk Medley and their Queen Bohemian Rhapsody.

The most haunting one that I think they did was the Christmas song, "Mary Did You Know"

Someone said that the original Art Garfunkel one was the warning, the Disturbed one was the destruction, and the Pentatonix version is the hope

Their 90s Dance Mix is CRAZY FUN.
♥️🤗♥️

PENTATONIX THE RECORDING OF EVERGREEN would be interesting for you I believe. It shows them working together in the studio on their Grammy nominated Evergreen album.

I'd highly recommend their cover of seals "kiss from a rose". It's newer and really shows the progression of the stretching of each person's range. They switch of bass to counter tenor with such ease you really need to pay attention to who is actually singing any given part. Love the reactions. Keep em coming. ❤❤❤

I think that you would really love  "Gold", another cover by Pentatonix.  It is a very relaxed recording with the best sound equipment I've personally ever heard.  You can hear every single  sound and it is a very personal performance mood.

Former choir geek here: These people ARE INSANELY talented. And they are so tight and clean...I believe the center three were friends in high school (Shout out choir nerds!).  And yeah this song was written by that little short guy in "You Can Call me Al". He's also a genius.

I've been a radio producer for almost 25 years. If you want to feel very humbled as a producer, check out their Daft Punk private performance. They won a Grammy for their Daft Punk mix. It's as live as you can possibly get and they mix themselves. If everyone could do that we might not have much work

KIrstin did a verse in Hallelujah and as always, she killed it.

Pentatonix as a whole are technically exceptional. The enunciation, vowel sound choice and placement the times they breathe are thought out in the arrangements. Their attention to detail is just unmatched. Some of it may be natural but I would say the technical stuff is largely taught and they have been taught and coached very well.

The beatboxer, Kevin Olusola, is an incredible cello player. And an awesome human.

Their cover of Amazing Grace is soooo good.  I also really love their cover of Mad World and When The Party's Over.

"Run to you" is a PTX original in 5 part harmony. No beat box, no sound effects. Just beautiful vocals ❤

Speaking of them only doing certain parts, one of my favorite shorts of Scott from Pentatonix is him in the dressing room only singing his parts of the song! Its so surreal to see how they memorize their parts and it actually takes a few lines to even realize what song it is. I feel like doing covers would be even harder since you have to retrain your brain to isolate only your parts in a song your brain knows all the parts to.

"Shallow" is a fine example of the beautifully crafted esthetics of a Pentatonix video.  Also, you get to see Kevin "cello-boxing"  😊

Disturbed, made that song into what it needed to be, back in the 60s peace, love. Disturbed there's an anger to it because what we 're feeling is that anger they really brought that song home. And i've always loved the original disturbed, blew it out of the water

All the Pentatonix fan-girls love their boys, lol.  But Kirstin has my favorite Pentatonix voice. She gets overlooked a bit sometimes. I'm glad you gave her much deserved praise.

you'd really like their video "the making of Evergreen"  they invite the cameras into the studio for 2 or 3 days during the production of evergreen, a xmas album a few years ago

PTX Bohemien Rhapsody is a MUST!
