Lovely to see and hear you again. My husband bought me a cub 7 in 1982 and it still sews like a dream.

Just found a repair invoice when you came to service my Brother VX1060 in 2016 it’s still working like a dream thank you.

I have a Cub 7 and love it. I’m letting my teenage daughter use it so that she has a wonderful sewing experience to encourage her to sew more and more.

F&R Cub.!! My favourite machine..!! Solid reliable and so easy to use!! I also have its older 'sister' and 'Grandmother'  all excellent machines👍

So wonderful to see you recovering❤ I had the orange version, Cub 3 I believe. I sold it several years ago for a modern model, needed an auto threaded as I documented to thread the needle😅 modern plasticity machines are not a patch on the solid metal ones

I came looking to see if Alex would know what the button on the base of the Cub 6  I picked up today was for. Sure enough he mentions it right near the end. Many thanks Alex! It would have taken me a full dismantle to figure out it activates the stabiliser arm. Quirky but handy. 👍😉

That was the first machine I bought and I've still got it and the receipt!  One careful lady owner so in perfect cosmetic condition - I just need to check if it has any capacitors that I should replace. I've also got a Cub 7 in great condition that's been renovated. I think the capacitors have been removed because it interfered with a radio I had.  I have a few other vintage F&Rs... I must say though, that my two Bernina 930's are my favourites.   I could ramble  on forever about sewing machines..lol.  Love you, Mr Askeroff..in a peculiar, sewing machine sort of way.

Hi , I have been gifted an old Frister Rossmann model 5901-0 from my neighbour. I've had it serviced and it stitches perfectly. I would like to try free motion embroidery but can't seem to find the button to drop the feed dogs. Any advice would be appreciated
