love how timothee's personality is literally whatever movie that's coming out next

The score sounds incredible

Timmy is such a kind and silly guy but he’s so serious about the work. I love how he always gives the cast and crew props too. Can’t wait to watch this week.

timothees performance and passion truly made this film, I hope he wins an award for this

just saw marty last night and omg the way this film exceeded all my expectations 😭 so fuuking goood everyone brings their A game gd

They're talented and passionate about what they do, they take things seriously, and this is taking Timmy's career in cinema to the freaking next level.

What I’m saying is that now Timmy is the one who has the sacred fire. He’s the one who has it—the inspiration, the clarity about his path. Daniel Day-Lewis had it before, before that De Niro, Pacino, Hoffman, etc. Now he has it: that hunger, that fire in his eyes.

"The more I get older the more I realize the creative wealth of the position I'm in is working with people with strong perspectives. Like, you want people to go toe-to-toe with you."
This is true for everything in life I think

As someone who takes table tennis semi-seriously it's mind-blowing how well they captured the intensity with Timothee playing it all for real. Several of the points played in the competition scenes had me gasping with the crowd.

It's interesting how he says "Géza lobs up the ball to allow Marty to end the game" 08:49 referring to the actor portraying Kletzki by his actual name, Géza Röhrig, and referring to Timothée Chalamet as Marty lol. I also absolutely loved that part where Marty let's out the little laugh while Kletzki is already walking around the side of the table to give him a hug before Marty even hits the ball. I've watched this movie like 3 or 4 times already and I have rewound that scene about a dozen times prior to seeing this video on youtube. Great scene and great movie, I love to hear that this was a special moment in the movie for Josh Safdie as well!

Definitely one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Please go watch.

2:50 How come no one ever talks about how cool this is

This film is electrifying!

As a middle-aged film buff I truly appreciate what Josh is doing and what he got out of Timothée as an actor. Darius's cinematography is on par with some of Henri Cartier Bresson's best street photography work.

just watched it last night and hearing Timmy's passion here, I get it now lol I get why he's been so fired up on the promo tour for this movie. It's that good. Josh and the entire team deserve all their flowers.

absolute genius on all levels. the level of understanding from chalamet and safdie is absurd. they go hand in hand and they are both a match made in heaven. cannot wait to watch this film. DREAM BIG

Can't wait to see the movie. Didn't know Timothée was such a talker lol He has much to say and is so vivacious. Beautiful to hear. Passionate people.

The film really does speak for itself

goated movie

people will expect nothing less in terms of promotion for all of timothee's future projects for at least 2 years
