I thought the choice to base the majority of the soundtrack in 80's synth-pop, for a movie set in the mid-50's, was surprisingly effective.

Ben Affleck is so happy and passionate when talking about films.

You can tell Ben appreciates unique movies with directors that have a singular voice, obviously he’s done his share of mainstream movies but deep down you can tell he has an affinity for difficult, off-kilter, interesting movies

I think I liked Chalamet’s performance over every other aspect of the movie, but I did really enjoy the film as it was, I didn’t think there was a dull moment in the entire 150 minute runtime

He watched 2 and a half hour movie twice that day and gave his opinion on it that day? Daredevil

I liked the fast paced energy of the film. It was not what I thought it was going to be after I watched the trailer. It was a perfect representation of the life of an addict. The constant go and hustle, with no thought or remorse of who benefits or gets ran over on the road to feed the fix. Those who know, will understand my thoughts on the movie

Would love to see Ben Affleck and Timothee in a movie together someday!

Ben is a salesman. I'm sold. Now I must see it.

Well said. Marty goes through such an array of extreme situtations; largely of his own making. It makes for an incredible ride to keep up and buy into it all, but Safdie, Chalamet, the cast and camera work pulls it off incredibly well. It's a BIG movie.

Chalamet is a phenomenal force of an actor. Whether it's the above, Dune, A Complete Unknown, or a secondary role in Hostiles - he's a rare breed that completely morphs into a different character and nails it. Up there with the best like Stephen Graham, Day-Lewis & Bale.

Affleck was the bomb in talking about Marty Supreme.

Ok Ben thank you please take a breath

Your comment on every character (even background) being 3D & so complete was spot on, can't remember a film that pulled this off so well

I don't think anyone could explain Marty Supreme better than him. 👏👏
I LOUVVVVVVE the movie.
Josh Safdy is a Genius and Timothée Chalamet is unbelievable ❤❤

I highly recommend this guy's DVD commentaries for THE SUM OF ALL FEARS and CHANGING LANES.

Damn he's straight up glazing the movie, that's amazing. I don't think I've ever seen him be this passionate

The town and Argo are quite singular movies that have a unique feel by Director Ben Affleck!

I saw it in IMAX . It was INCREDIBLE! 🎥

It was very good.

I’ve come to the realization that this is the modern day Rocky. Amazing movie
