Let me know what you think of my... experiment. I had a lot of fun making this video 🤠

fun fact: it's called decoupling because the pilot's significant other becomes single when you press it

“So the game changer was discovering the SAS button” two minutes before the end of the video is DIABOLICAL WORK 😂

"Maybe if I decouple"
*EXPLOSION*
This is why I watch you, Kevin.

Unironically, even hitting the Mun without Googling how is a pretty good achievement.

This is why NASA needs to hire Kevin because it will help the space program by having Kevin test rockets that rocket scientists dare not test.

I've been thinking of checking this game out, thanks for this, gonna try landing on the Mun myself 🥰

It's really unfortunate the game doesn't stress the importance of SAS and RCS to new players. It's a lot more fun to trial and error when you don't just spin out of control every single time.

My name is Valentina.
Thank you for launching me into space and for dedicating me a song. It was beautiful. XD

As someone who plays A LOT of KSP, this was both hilarious and agonising to watch. And that “landing” was about as good as some of the recent real Moon landers, so not too shabby!

As someone who is currently in college for aerospace engineering, good job Kevin. This whole video is basically the average experience for an undergraduate aerospace engineering student. You’re ready to go into the industry! 😭

Dear Kevin, i wanted to tell you how much i enjoy your videos and the direction you're taking with them. i'm glad you decided to take more time for yourself and retire from youtube because we are getting some amazing things! i've been a fan for quite a few years now and somehow you always manage to make videos that match perfectly the mood i am in! thank you so much for everything! 🥰 one quick question though: are you going to ever do live events again or did i miss my window at meeting you? or will i have to wait until your music carreer starts and i'll see you at your concerts? 🤭

keep up the good work and take amazing care of yourself! 🩵

"Ground control to Valentina. Beautiful death, you're like a ballerina"
--is such a frigging banger of a line, I'm obsessed.

I appreciate that this video wasn't just making a few silly rockets and then calling it, but actually sticking to it until you managed to achieve things :) I've got probably a thousand hours in this game, usually watching people on youtube means seeing them not really take it seriously, so actually getting to the moon is a welcome change. And honestly, even if the landing made use of a LOT of lithobreaking, still impressive!

Very realistic video. This is exactly how space x design their rockets.

14:07 wait why is this actually good?!?!

Military Genius, Secret Serial Killer Genius and now Aerospace Genius?! Is there anything this man can’t do

the japanese space program: 22:41

When it starts spinning rapidly, all I could think of was that poor lady the helicopter rescued from the canyon and she was spinning out of control 😂

I love how Kevins content went from "Murdery chaos" to "Murdery chaos, but with a purpose"
