Satyajit Ray once said about Indian audience fairly backward" and "unsophisticated". Indian viewers largely lack exposure to artistic depth, remaining heavily conditioned by commercial cinema.
The audacity of some filmmakers to make movies like these and still believe they’ll succeed at the box office is unbelievable. I understand that many in the Indian audience go to theatres simply to have a good time, but that doesn’t justify serving them such poorly made films.
Satyajit Ray once remarked that we have a “fairly backward audience,” and it’s hard not to think of that when films like these continue to find viewers.
Kudos to you, Shan. No holds barred—you call these films exactly what they are: poorly written, poorly made, and simply terrible. Honest criticism like yours is refreshing in a space where mediocrity is too often celebrated.
16:32 are you kidding me !..director/production house thinks that specially Riteish deshmukh can recreate the legend Jim Carey's acting/ expression ..well ..I guess they are smoking something magical ..🤷🏻♂️..they are so obsessed with lazy writing and hollywood
Dekh ke samaj gye the ki this is just another money laundering scheme, ruining a film franchise. I don't understand the obsession of ruining films with sequels, jiska koi lena dena nhi pehli film se, first Bhool bhulaiya, cocktail, singham, dhamaal, now golmaal is gonna come, don't know how it will turn up
It's sad to see Dhamaal 1's legacy being destroyed mercilessly over years. The first Dhamaal was such a gem; one of the funniest movies of my childhood.
