We are 2 brothers. I am the older and I wish Raghu was my elder brother...always longed for these kind of conversations as my father passed away when I was young...
Absolutely respect Shan for that fact that he totally accepts he doesn’t want to be back in India. He has all the right reasons and he is completely free to make that choice and glad he is so happy about it. Raghu has his own reasons to love living in India. He is perfectly right in his reasoning. It is two opposite choices and both are happy with it. I don’t understand why people in the comments have an issue with that.
I am from small town called jamshedpur and shifted to Kolkata after getting married.but now I don't want to go to jamshedpur for more than 2 days. My city my home haunts me, so I can understand his feelings.
I can relate to every word Shan said about not missing anything about India. Anyone who has lived through a decent enough childhood and family life will miss it when they leave it by choice or otherwise, because they have happy memories, and the ones who have lived through shitty ones will want to escape it so that they never have to live through the trauma. And this is true for every person on this earth irrespective of their home country, which explains why so many firangs find their peace in India. It felt like Raghu had very out of date ideas about life abroad, but good to know that he has an open mind to accept otherwise!
I really loved how they both have different opinions and talking about those things not like other podcasters who just nods and ask random ass questions
I really loved this episode of podcast because both of them have some polarising opinions but they try force there opinion on each they listened each other opinion and agreed on something and differed at some things which just shows how organic this podcast was I really loved this episode
