I once pocket dialed my sister, and only realized when I heard a confused voice saying my name. APPARENTLY I pocket dialed her, and she pocket accepted the call. We were both so confused 😭

Left my phone unlocked while listening to a YouTube video and it clicked on a PragerU ad and subscribed me. Nightmare scenario.

My mom was crawling around in the attic and accidentally started an entire facebook group, added three doctors she worked with along with like 50 other people, and didn’t realize until one of the doctors was like “wtf?”

Imagine being the manager of the Imagine dragons twitter and getting calmly informed that Dyttrrttrbbyjjnb

I left my phone unlocked in my pocket, apparently called a buddy of mine 12 times. We hadn't spoken in 3 years. Besides that, helped rekindle our drifting friendship at least lmao

I managed to pocket-call my grandma while on vacation hiking in italy. Didn't notice anything and kept walking. Hours later, when I took my phone out, I had 5 unread messages from my parents, telling me to contact them immediately.
Apparently, my poor grandma accepted the call, only to hear muffled noises and random grunts. She then called my parents to warn them something bad had happened, who then tried to contact me, but couldn't reach me because I was just fully living in the moment.
And that is the story of how my family thought I was actively dying in a random ditch hundreds of kilometers away because my shitty old phone randomly unlocked itself (and reality finally convinced me to buy a new one immediately after I got home lol)

A friend of mine had his phone in his bag and it dialed 911. Middle of class you hear the ring tone and he looks down confused (phones weren't allowed but that made the interaction that much better) and he looks up at the teacher with a pale face and just says "The police are calling me" He then murmurs into the phone "I am in class" making the lady on the other side sound fearful for him and was about to send out a dispatch before my teacher took the phone and had to explain everything along with getting the entire class to say hello to remove suspicion. Certifiably one of the best moments that year

I put my phone in my pocket in class once, I was on the home screen. Opened it again afterwards, and it had somehow managed to open the play store, paste the word "Vocal" into the search bar and begin downloading a photo app where you could add a 3d model of Hatsune Miku into your photos.

Switched the language to Spanish with my butt and then all the kids at the lunch table had to work together to get it back to English.

My mom's phone doesn't have a lock, but when she puts it on her lap, screen down, or between her legs on her lap with her belly pressing on it, it will search random gibberish that makes zero sense at all.

My brother also recently dropped his phone, and the screen shattered. He tried to unlock it, to no avail, then when his screen was repaired he realized that his phone was locked for... wait for it...

a few years ago, my grandad accidentally text me "bag of apples" because his phone was in his pocket, then he called me while yelling "CANCEL, CANCEL, UNSEND. STOP THAT NOW, SIRI". he had no apples near me

also i frequently take screenshots on my phone in my sleep somehow. usually of ads? i always figure out days later. this happens every other week
