Braves Better

The braves lineup construction leads to games like yesterday when you have too many whiffs when you need to move runners over or base hits instead of home runs... Too many lobs, too many ducks left on the pond, too many risp..

And you kind of know it's not your series when the absolute greatest strength of your team for probably the last couple of years, your bullpen, loses you the game of all things. I could not imagine having watch the braves a lot this season and the past couple years saying at any time from spring training up until and through the game yesterday that the braves bullpen would be the reason that they lost in the playoffs to the phils.

Does anyone disagree the bullpen is pretty much the strength of the team?? You get two quality starts and take a lead into the 8th. You don't expect the braves to lose. Now you have to wonder who can they start and how can they fix their run-producing issues to give their bullpen a bigger cushion..

If I'm wild West my speech to the team is simple. Do me a favor, try your best to stop striking out so much. Choke up on the bat tonight when you're down one two in the account and try to get a base hit or make contact like I was taught and like players used to do instead of swinging for the fences and striking out for the 180th time this year.

Tough way to live

Let's go Phillies
