Thank you so much for this video. This struck a cord for me since my husband and I are going through this exact process. We are very close to the new plot of land that the diocese of Orlando had purchased and never knew anything about it. Prayers for you both.

Thank you!! This is one of our priorities. We are Catholic and few, if any, are in the new area. Thanks for the video!

Great points to consider, thank you! It’s nice that nowadays churches have websites that show their beliefs which helps determine if they stick to biblical principles and teachings. Too many denominations have strayed into what the world wants and not what God’s word command. They also give a feel for worship styles (contemporary vs traditional music etc.)

Thank you for the topic.  I've been part of big, medium and small churches at different times of my life.  Kind of came full circle, back to a small(50 people), Holy Spirit driven church, with simple worship and Bible teaching from pastor(s) who I respect.
We look forward to our search when we get there.

Great video, good timing for us. Sorry to hear of April‘s health struggles. Pray she’s all better soon.✝️

Wow, what a wonderful video! Thank you both for sharing your “faith journey” it can be a difficult subject to address and you did it with grace and respect! You’ve given new and established villagers much to think about. While everyone’s journey is a bit different, you’ve provided people with a good way to start looking for their church home here in the villages………..well done!

Iwas happy to see this post today as I am going through this now. I attended a Mass at St Paul de Vincent last weekend in Wildwood and the first thing I noticed when entering the church was the box asking for funds towards their expansion. This made me stepped back a  moment as the church I just left in Georgia has been having a massive fundraiser to build a new church as services for the past 9 yeats have been in the parish hall which was built first. Yesterday, I attended Mass at St Paul's in Leesburg.  Next week I would like to go to St Timothy's. I think that it will be too far away but I would like to attend a service there.  I live in Edenfield and am happy to hear about a church being built in the future on Marsh Bend.  Thank you. GOD Bless.

Thank you for this video. 🙏
There’s a real need for a video on this topic. You covered the issue with great generosity and love; true ministry in action! Loving your videos and wishing you well. Thank you for your service too.
God Bless, Mathew (Anglican Priest & Army Reserve Psychologist)

Thank you for the information regarding the upcoming construction projects. The insights shared are beneficial. Prayers for you both.

Great info

Wonderful video! So helpful! Many prayers for you both! 🙏 🙏💕

Great video..needed in this are for sure.

Thank you so much, Everett and April for doing this! So sorry you haven’t been well, April, and we pray that you’re feeling better.🙏🏼🫶🏼

We did some research before visiting churches as you mentioned. Over the course of three stays in The Villages before moving here full-time, we read church belief statements, watched videos of their services, looked at ministry opportunities and visited the ones that we thought might fit. After going to seven churches, we felt led to Church of the Lakes in Leesburg. It isn’t exactly like our church back home, but has so many attributes that we like and we feel like the Lord wants us to commit to it in this season.

Thank you for handling the topic with such grace. God bless you both 💕.

I met this really nice lady at the pool. She goes to a Christian church. That is the kind of church I've attended all my life. When I get down there permanently the end of this month she and her husband are going to take me with them. I know for a fact that this is a God thing. There are no coincidences.

I love this video.  As a snowflake I'm not in The Villages as often as I'd like but when I am I would like to attend church services.  I'm a Latter Day Saint and cannot find a church nearby, especially that I only have a golf car.  I did attend a local Catholic Church a couple of months ago with a friend and it was lovely.  I have been praying and hoping to find an LDS church locally.  Your video is a reminder for me to stay on track and keep praying about it.  Love you both (and your little fur babies).

Thanks guys. As a former pastor this is an important topic. Moving to the villages in about a year and I have been thinking about what it would be like to find a church in a new area. See you Tuesday morning for the walk. Enjoying our lifestyle visit.

Wow, I've been watching videos about TV for several years and this is the first one I've seen that focuses on churches. Not saying there haven’t been some, but they didn’t pop up for me.

Thank you for this video Saint Vincent Catholic Church already has an issue with crowding and getting in and getting out it takes you a long time just to get into the parking lot. I can’t imagine what’s gonna happen when there’s 2000 people. I see a lot of non-denomination churches going up, this must be a trend, but we are in desperate need of another Catholic Church down south and let’s not forget our Jewish friends. I don’t see any temples close by as well. Great video.

Very well-made video discussion about an important topic to a lot of folks here. I may have met you if you checked out Better Life Church. If you haven't explored the services online or in person yet, please do check us out. Many people here come from a Catholic background and have found a home here. We are the friendliest church, and we follow Jesus. God Bless you both!

Great video😊 enjoyed ❤ Our first visit there we visited First Baptism Church of the villages & loved it
