But they got behind schedule and postponed last minute (actually last hour, which is still last minute enough to call last minute)

I'm not going to lie, around 95% of the books I've seen recently have been somewhat to almost entirely - AI generated.

It definitely raises questions as to where the industry is going, and yeah, it's as disheartening as it sounds.

I'm actually trying to write my own book, so hearing YouTubers roasting "Mr. Beast's" "book" makes me feel really confident about my writing abilities (unlike Mr. Beast, I actually ENJOY reading and reading up on tropes so I know which ones to avoid)

I feel the need to point out that Orcas (aka Killer Whales) aren't even known for hunting or attacking people in the wild, they're generally only curious  - any and all instances of recorded attacks have occurred in captivity (I have never consumed any of Mr Beast's content, and I didn't even know he'd released a book and with Patterson no less whose books my own father has actually enjoyed  a few of, but I cannot abide a clear lack of knowledge on something like this)

Personally, As a pretty big Wildlife enthusiast, I have zero idea why they went with Orcas. Orcas DO NOT hunt humans; it's one of the most fascinating parts about them. If they had gone with the Arctic instead of the Antarctic, they could have used polar bears who literally eat anything made of meat without question.

This honestly is what I expected if he did wrote it. One big thing that this video missed Mr beast didn’t write it. He basically puts his face on the book as some other “writer” did it. It’s on the cover the whole time James Paterson a well known “writer” who actually just outsources to ghost writers. He was just a marketing tool. Honestly weird this wasn’t mention as it’s a big reason the book so bad.

I literally prompted ai to write about a contestant who fails a billion dollar challenge because of his fear of needles. Suprise! 10/10 times it wrote about the guy losing because of ONE SINGLE needle🤔

As an English teacher by training, I highlighted almost the entire book in red ink. This was beyond bad. Middle schoolers would have written a much better book.

It had about the worst plot in the universe, the main character was an absolute jerk that was impossible to connect with for the entire story, the old man character that dies at the end had little to no arc to even make you feel anything at his death (and the main character spends the entire book talking about how much he hates this old man), then, on top of that, the main plot of the book isn’t even fulfilled at the end and it leaves you completely unsatisfied.
