I headed to Dalwhinnie for a day in the Scottish Highlands, making my way up to the Fara via Meall nan Eagan and the two gorges of Dirc Bheag and Dirc Mhor. With the weather looking promising, I decided to finish the day with a little summit camp and spend the night high in the mountains.
In this video, I share my solo hiking and camping adventure in the Scottish mountains, from the long approach and climb to the Fara, to waking up completely engulfed in cloud the following morning. It was a much-needed bit of time outdoors after spending so long on the road β just a simple nature fix in the Highlands. And, the clouds did lift eventually, too :)
Whether you enjoy solo hiking, wild camping, Munro adventures, or simply exploring the Scottish Highlands, I hope you enjoy coming along for this little escape to the mountains.
Here's another summit camp video of mine :) Perfect Winter Summit Camp in the Cairngor...
Thank you so much for watching and being here. And, it would mean the world to me if you give me a like, comment and subscribe.
See you next time!
