Was waiting at the end for  Jack to give Rochester the next Wednesday off

I remember watching this episode when I was a kid.  I cracked up when he told the judge he had robbed a safe.  He came on every Sunday night.  I always went to sleep full of laughs, even if I did have to go to school the next morning..

What fun with Mel Blanc and Frank Nelson in this one.

Another good one as usual. All the Jack Benny shows were good due to the fact that Jack was great!

The slow part was to build audience sympathy for the Judge, we experienced it too!

This time it isn't Hank, the all night disk jockey's fault

Thank you Sir...

I've wondered if this episode was the origin of Lionel Hutz of "The Simpsons" fame.  There's clearly influences from Jack Benny on that series.

Excellent episode! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The chance to see Mel, Jack, and Dan do some real acting gave us a better insight into those men, and their Chattacter, as well as their talent.  The directer drew so much out of jack, and Mel was beilliant.

Adorable 🥰. I was an infant when this aired, but I loved the cartoon with jack, Rochester and Mary playing mice, The Mouse’s House or House Jack Built?!  Anyway it must’ve been good bc I still remember watching it!

🤣🤣🤣 Mel Blanc !!!

...well that was funny!!!!!.....:face-green-smiling:

18:59 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Can’t wait

HIIIIIIYAAAAAA, Buck!  I've been scared straight!  It'll be a cold day in Miami in August before anyone catches me practicing my violin at 2 AM in Beverly Hills again.

simple nice

Isn't that Joseph Kerns as narrator  ?

I had to look it up if the drunk Was Mel. Lots of the cops looked familiar too. Did not see the PJs on the spread either!🤓😎✌🏼☮️One thing, He's no ACTOR 😮😆.   🤓😎✌🏼☮️
