Should Aspyr remaster this Obi-Wan game?🕹

I remember liking this game so much as a kid that I assumed we were going to get a Star Wars Anakin game afterwards

"i'm not sure" has stayed with me for 2 decades

Fun fact: the Tatooine level where you rescue Princess Amidala (or her body double?) is, as far as I can tell, the only part of this game to be referenced anywhere in the EU. Obi-Wan mentions it in the novel Kenobi while conversing with Qui-Gon’s Force ghost.

I’m just mad this game isn’t backwards compatible on newer Xbox consoles, I’ve been wanting to replay it for years.

Clouded your judgement has become, great this game is.

If Aspyr would remaster anything Star Wars again, I think it should be a Rogue Squadron collection.

This is definitely one of the Star Wars games of all time.

The liminal adventures of Obi Wan

I got a gamecube for christmas as a kid because i was a huge star wars fan and wanted to play rogue squadron.
But whenever id go to the video game section at blockbuster the cover for this game would ALWAYS draw my eye. The OG xbox used the color green in their ads a LOT and the cover woild always draw me in.... it held my gaze like an enigma. I didnt have an xbox and my cousin didnt either, so i never had a chance to play it despite wanting to for years.
Then i got older and realized i honestly didnt miss much lol but everything seems cool when you're young.

I played the hell out of this game as a kid. Especially fighting friends. I always thought the lightsaber combat in this game was kinda cool.

LMFAO 0:54. This brought back a hilarious memory from my childhood. Me and some cousins were trying get through 5th level and one of my cousins who was behind the controls was struggling like me and my other cousins. He kept pressing a button to open a door and Obi Wan just kept saying “I’m not sure”😂. Every time a door that he thought was accessible he press the button to open Obi Wan says “I’m not sure”. He got so pissed off he went off on Obi Wan on the tv “I don’t care if ur not sure!!!”😂🤣🤣🤣

I played this game for HOURS as a kid. Me and my brothers would duel eachother over and over again. So much fun

The thing I remember most about this game is how fun it was to fight your friends in multiplayer duels and picking overpowered characters and spamming force abilities to destroy them

At least Clone Wars gave Plo Koon more speaking roles.

That Tatooine mission is canon in the old EU. It’s referenced in the Kenobi novel.

6:18 Oh yes. I remember way back in 2022 when attack of the clones came out lol
need an edit there, but thank you for the chuckle

Obi Wan's CartWheel...GOLD

I got my Xbox as my high school graduation present and I could only afford 1 game, and I chose this one. I loved the hell out of it. The wildest thing about it for me was that Obi Wan recites the “Choose Life” Trainspotting monologue at the end of the game where he uses all Star Wars references

Real ones play this on OG hardeware
