Pokémon needs to give all in-game trade Pokémon really stupid/silly names to incentivize people to actually get them. Cheekers is peak content

picture this. you are regina. you have a bunch of pokemon that you want to swap for galarian forms. a man excitedly runs up to you and then leaves because he doesn't have the galarian mime you want that day. the next day he runs up to you again. you say you have a zigzagoon. he is so excited that he starts to choke and cough for a solid minute in front of you

The Reginas aren’t clones, they’re just a bunch of identical twin sisters. Just like the Officer Jennys and Nurse Joys in the anime.😂

37:36 you CANNOT just say "then i started grinding on wild pokemon" and have a lopunny as the wild pokemon on display 💀💀💀💀

“Time to fight the dragon warrior” is my favourite thing Michael has ever said

Random Person: Let me see your Persian
Mikey: Cash Or credit?

Cloning in Pokemon: Started with Mewtwo, perfected with Regina.

Actually Michael, for a region based off the UK it's fairly accurate, they find weird artifacts in strange places all the time, like once they found the remains of one of the earliest Kings of England buried under a parking lot

"My name is Regina... and I am a massive deal. I only care what pokemon you have, I don't care how you feel"

40:25 “I forgot to name it STICK HIS NAME IS STICK” I love that part so much😭

Mikey: "It''s a cow. You're a cow. What are you gonna do, big girl? Stomp flinch me?"
Miltank: "Don't tempt me."

Me:*Gets an ad for Kung Fu Panda 4*
Mikey immediately after I skipped it:"Alright, time to fight the Dragon Warrior."
You could not have timed that any better. XD

Mikey, getting Circle Thrown into oblivion: There's only one thing I can do!

Me: Time travel until you get the correct trade?

Mikey: Nope! I'm just gonna sorta shuffle awkwardly around Schoolgirl Hannah and hope for the best.

36:28 Zen Mode Darmanitan was waiting for the perfect moment, reaching full potential and when it finally was ready, it hit, hit hard.

@Nixinline8692 2 years ago

"I want to give it a nickname that's in line with the other in game trade names."
Names it the greek god of blood and main character of Hades

23:42 actually behind Professor Magnolia's house there's a patch of grass behind the lake, and blocking the grass is a wild obstagoon i believe

@Wailmur 2 years ago

Schoolgirl hannah is honestly one of the biggest non-gym leader threats in the entire game. Especially because the majority of the pokemon you find on your way to route 3 are either normal or dark type

29:48 Dude that was a perfect impression of Weezing.😂

"Zen mode is so bad." Mikey, 2024.

For Unovan Darmanitan, yes. It goes from a fairly fast physical attacker to a slow, bulky special attacker. For Galarian Darmanitan, it's not as bad. The 60 point boost to its BST go to its speed and physical attack. It goes from 140 attack to 160 and 95 speed to 135.

"what's a giant flat thing" - rug, carpet, blanket! (my personal favorite of this list), field, barge, tent ("welcome barge" and "welcome tent" both kind of roll off the tongue), or just call 'em a a welcome flat, like an apartment.
