Similar to the steamed rice roll, I use rice paper to make a cheat banh cuon! My favorite vietnamese dish and has a filling of woodear mushrooms and ground pork. There's also a viet street food "pizza" that you can get too in vietnam...you essentially pan fry rice paper and you crack an egg on top and can put toppings like pork floss, scallions, laughing cow cheese, chinese sausage, and siracha (it's a yummy snack). I've also seen someone create rice paper seaweed chips; they stuck the large seaweed on a rice paper and deep fried it

Inga has now upgraded to Chef Inga with that apron on throughout. 😆 Even the mic is now attached to it. Happy to see the continued increase in confidence and courage to embrace even the stuff that doesn't go perfectly, which is how cooking usually goes!

Hi Inga, there is another recipe that you might like! roll the rice paper with seaweed for sushi and enoki mushrooms and air fry it. tried it with chili oil and it was delicious!

Curious in the near future if you could do one of these vids but with tofu skin!!! I had some family members recently diagnosed with diabetes, so I’ve been looking for the use of tofu skin to replace other carb options (like as a rice paper sub, or egg roll wrapper sub, noodle sub, and maybe even some pastry/confectionary use!

You should do a video focused on the BEST spring roll recipes. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. Now that I can no longer eat wheat, I suspect that spring rolls are going to wind up being a life saver for me

had a bunch in my cupboard for the longest time, thanks for this!

This is a fabulous video. I’ve had some in the pantry for months and don’t know what to do with them. Thank you so much.

For the boba i think you should have boiled the rice balls first and then cook it in brown sugar

As always a new video is the highlight of the day! Just curious if you’d ever thought about a kitchen tour video? Or maybe discussing your kitchen staples as someone who cooks both eastern and western foods? Just an idea 😊

You can make the tteokbokki with cheese in the middle, so it’s not quite as chewy

The rice paper chips would be a pretty good candidate for fire flakes, ngl. Definitely gonna make the rice rolls. They look so gooooood!

Just a heads up, for the "croissants de le riz", they don't use "de le" in French like that, unless you're dealing with a word that begins with a vowel or silent h (and even then, you use de l' for that). You use "du" instead for all other words. And it'd probably be better to just use "de" when using descriptions for nouns.

This was great! I like how it seemed you were giving very accurate ratings

I usually make rice cake snacks by rolling them up, but I do them individually by rolling them like they’re empty fried spring rolls. Since I don’t have to double them up (and sometimes I do fry them before tossing in sauce) they’re more of a varied texture and less of a jaw workout 😂

If you were to use popcorn cheddar cheese seasoning with the rice chip pillows you would basically get gluten free, home made, Cheetos!

My MIL uses them for egg rolls. 😊 The crisp, crunchy texture lasts longer than the usual egg roll wrappers. She lightly fry them so it’ll be easier to put it in the freezer. When we’re ready to eat, we just gotta fry it up until crisp. I like this version as well. 😊
