I'm not an African. I'm a Black American 🇺🇸!

Bottom line:  Mensa is not FBA.  Therefore, what WE do or how WE define ourselves is none of his business.

Not a diluted anchor baby, identifying as an immigrant, eating off FBA culture/spirituality, mocking our delineation….the nerve

We can't deny what we never were to begin with. FBA all damn day 🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿

Because we are NOT African!

He's bought and paid for: (Vic Mensa). he's a DNC shill operative!! his mom is wyt! and dad is west africa, he's not of the lineage!!

If Africans can just love themselves they’ll be alright. We’re not their therapists or historians.

The question should be why doesn't Vic Mensa want to live permanently in Africa if he's so African.

Saying “you can have a lot of Nigeria in there” when Nigeria didn’t even exist during the slave trade is wild

FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICANS ARE THE GREATEST PEOPLE IN HISTORY...IT DONT GET NO BETTER. NO LIE

FBA delineation is powerful

Vic shoud be asking his father that question

Vic Mensa is the son of a Ghanaian immigrant who came to the United States through academic pathways, eventually becoming a college professor. Because of that background, Vic’s worldview is shaped by immigrant narratives and pan‑African ideology rather than the lineage‑specific historical experience of Foundational Black Americans whose ancestry traces back to U.S. slavery. So when he comments on Black American identity, he’s speaking from a Ghanaian‑influenced cultural lens, not from the lived historical context that defines FBA identity.

Why do people give a damn what FBA’s call themselves? When I visited Kenya and Tanzania they called me black Americans. Honestly I don’t think the Africans abroad give a damn. It’s the black immigrants here in the USA

Vic want us to be African like him STOP

His mother is a wyte woman Betsy.. His father is A African migrant who's real name is "Kwaku" but changed it to Edward to sound more western.

Vic Mensa is struggling with his identity.  He is of mixed race, YT and African, so he wants to connect with Black Americans to feel accepted.

He needs to speak for himself.  He is African, doesn't mean we are.. Im so sick of these people trying to tell us who we are.  They should worry about themselves

How many generations of blood and bone in this soil does it take to be an American? 🇺🇸  Everyone else is 2 -3 generations…we have hundreds of years, before the US was founded. We are the quintessential Americans. We built it, we claim it.

This Africanizing bs is obviously an Agenda at this point, africans were so "diverse" and the spearchuckers were so "different" until Africans realized nobody cares about African or Caribbean "culture" 🤷🏼‍♂️
