Why is Black American specificity interpreted as supremacy? Why is defining our identity called gatekeeping?

The same tethers say fba don't have culture at the same time they're cosplaying black Americans. These tethers just want to connect the accomplishments the achievements the inventors etc. Fba are gatekeeper

When we draw a clear line in the sand, it's not as easy to cosplay as FBA when they can benefit from doing so.The same groups of people complaining already delineate.

Its funny how people think saying something disrespectful, then saying "No disrespect" cleans it up.

The FBA delineation movement is leaderless. It's decentralize just like bitcoin's blockchain. FBAs can't be stop.

Yes, we own it. We're the ones that created the positive Ambiance around it. Say it loud, I'm Black and I'm proud. I am a Foundational, Black American woman who was born in the North Manhattan and raised down South North Carolina, I lived 45 minutes from the exact slave market. My great-grandfather was sold from twice, which resides in downtown Fayetteville, home to our largest military base in the country. And in my opinion, we don't owe , anyone an explanation we are standing tentoes down in our homeland not fleeing from any of these immigrant countries that these immigrants have fled form to get here and living in our truth, we don't owe any of them an explanation.but They do for a fact, owe us an explanation on how narcissistic you would have to be to flee to someone else's land and yet demand that they define how they represent or how they describe themselves. Because it doesn't fit your uneducated ideology or the propaganda that you have been fed !

The Civil Rights movement literally started in the 1500s. Black people on Mainland been fighting, negotiating and lobbing for Civil Liberties. It didn't just start in the 1950s it continue from 1865 and as far back as 1500s in Florida. Da fuq are these folks talking about?

It’s called RET-CONING history. The delineation movement has non FBA’s so shaken that they now have created a movement that states we created nothing and borrowed or stolen everything from Africa. Truthfully, they are just making everyone roll their eyes and laugh at them because this reeks of desperation. Speaking of Joy Reid, she has now accepted our self definition as FBA.

(16) Malcom X on Black Americans Despising Africa and denying African identity:
“They had to read the history of slavery to see how the white man skillfully managed to make us hate ourselves. He didn't do it by telling us to hate ourselves; he did it by making us hate the land we came from. When you hate Africa, you hate your roots. You can't hate the roots of a tree without ending up hating the tree itself. You can't hate your origin without ending up hating yourself. You can't hate the land, your motherland, the place that you came from, and we can't hate Africa without ending up hating ourselves. The Black man in the Western Hemisphere—North America, Central America, South America, and in the Caribbean—is the best example of how one can be made, skillfully, to hate himself that you can find anywhere on this earth. ...You cannot have a positive attitude toward yourself and a negative attitude toward Africa at the same time. To the same degree that your attitude becomes positive and your understanding of Africa becomes positive, your attitude and understanding of yourself will become positive. This is what the white man knows. So they very skillfully made you and me hate our African identity, our African characteristics.” (Malcom X, December 24, 1964)
