In this video, I share my entire journey: how I taught myself German, why I abandoned regular language courses, how I prepared for the B1 and Einbürgerungstest, what documents I collected, and why obtaining citizenship took more than two years after passing all the exams.

I'll also share my mistakes, including my move, which greatly impacted the entire process.

This isn't a guide to obtaining citizenship, but my personal experience. Rules change, and everyone's situation is different.

But for me, this story also tells another story: it's never too late to learn, change your life, and pursue a big goal—even if the journey takes 11 years.
