Apologies for the delay on this one guys, was boxing a Kangaroo and ended up in hospital.
Regardless, what a great series of games so far. Future Saga will have to wait though. God of War Next =)

Man the absolute heartbreak when the disc would scratch and would just have the travel screen with your ship play over and over not loading the planet you're trying to get to

Deadlock having the weapons turn rainbow at lv 99 is so fun, it's useless but fun. Absolutely love this series.

3:03 I think the reason Drek didn’t say “Novalis” was so he can reuse the entire video for the next planet he will be attacking and only have to replace the picture of the planet.

Just to clarify:
Insomniac made an award called the "Yeti" award after this game to celebrate the worst part of each game they made. The Yetis are infamous for how difficult they are to fight.

The hardest game to 100% is Secret Agent Clank, because that would require you to actually play it

Just a bit of context for the first game: Drek doesn't say the name of Novalis because it's the same infobot reused for all the planets he's destroying and the planet just gets edited in. That's what's implied because he's been destroying planets over and over again and that's also why he's vague in his description of what's happening.

27:36 Remember the ice bridge you hate so much? Guess what turns off ice physics? Strafe Hovering.

Grelbin was made by (mostly) 1 dude in 3 days right at the end of development. Difficulty issues aside it's honestly it's incredible that it's playable at all.

Its not that he doesn't know how to say the planet's name, the joke is that he's so cheap that despite wasting money on his plan he just recorded one message for multiple planets and used a still with the planet's names instead of saying them. Like when there's an automated voice reading a name that clearly doesn't match the original voice.

Deadlocked is still my favorite ratchet and clank game it slapped so hard and was an awesome time as a kid

So fun fact about the first game, before the first hoverboard race if you flip over the lady who enters you into the race a few times an unexpected "feature" will become apparent

So, i found this out forever ago. On the planet with the 2nd planet of Deadlocked, when you need to hack the 4 orbs to open the door at 1:14, if you only hack one of the orbs (this only works in the Story version of this mission, not repeats/retries of the level) the little enemies respawn infinitely. This means as long as you set up shields with shock on them, they will kill the little creatures and you can just hold guns out to level them up almost instantly because the spawn rate is about 20-30 enemies a second. However, if you fail to keep them in check and kill them too slowly, your game can crash within seconds. Mind you, i only had the game on PS2

It's quite ironic that the "cat" guy of the sony trio was the only one who is allowed to swim.

3:05 i always assumed that its not that Drek can't say the name, but since he's going around destroying so many planets, he just has a template video of the "warning" with the target planet edited in.

Fun fact: the devs later said they didn't realise how narrow the window was for that water platform section in Blackwater. This was then fixed for the PS4 remaster.

35:37 The correct way to take out these turrets is to damage the turrets until they're almost about to break with the blue fumes, then engage the boosters to rush through the turrets and destroy them all. I see the gauge at the top right is not empty so that implies you have not used the boosters on the ship. This is an easy mission for me now.

Deadlocked was called Gladiator in the UK, don't know why but yeah... Loved playing Split screen with my siblings, i really miss those simpler times

54:27 this is probably by far my favorite joke in the whole Ratchet and Clank series. How did they get away with that.

3:55 Is so valid, Ratchet and Clank 1 soundtrack slaps so hard
