Men are allowed to cry for the T-800

James Cameron made us all cry for a cyborg that understood more about human life than a lot of our fellow humans.

Lets be honest it's one of the greatest heroic sacrifices on film.

Of all the movies I've seen, that farewell is the most epic, and that final thumbs-up gesture makes it heroic as well.

I was crying like a baby. In the theater. Back in 91 i was 21. Literally, all my friends got home and got drunked

Every time I watch the last scene since 1991, when the good terminator is about destroyed, my eyes get tearful. Even now, when I am grownup. I always hope he's going to stay with them.

Born in 84. This was my favorite movie as a kid, still tear up at the end. I was a huge Arnie fan as an action hero, and comedian like in Twins and Kindergarten Cop. Loved everything Arnold. Man being a kid in the 90s was awesome.

I think I was younger than ten when I first saw this on home video in the 90s. The part that got to me was the thumbs up 😭😭😭

Probably the best movie ever made.

👍 the original version which was screened before general release, The Terminator did not say he couldn't self terminate. Those audiences did not react positively to him just handing the controller to Sarah so they had Arnold add the "I cannot self terminate" line which is why you do not see him say it.

What alot of these people don't realize, that as much as we all would rather have that T800 stay with John & Sarah, the terminator knew he needed to leave because if his technology was discovered, skynet would be made from his technology! And the t800 was under orders from future John to prevent it from happening!
