"I’M YOUR HUCKLEBERRY!" | Tombstone (1993) Movie Reaction

GazMASH Cuts!

Is Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday the coolest character in cinema history? Today I'm reacting to the classic Western Tombstone. I wasn't ready for how hard these lines hit and how intense the gunfights actually were.

Watching Wyatt Earp and his brothers take on the Cowboys was pure hype. Let me know in the comments: what is your favourite line from this movie?

Val Kilmer was robbed for not getting an Oscar for this performance, he literally stole the show. Without a doubt one of the best westerns ever.

Doc’s last line is a reference to his actual life. He always said he’d always “die with his boots on”.

The earps, doc holliday & the cowboys were real people

Michael Biehn on Val after they were in TOMBSTONE:
"People ask me what it's like to work with Val Kilmer. I don't know. Never met him. Never shook his hand. I know Doc Holliday, but I don't know Kilmer."

Doc Holliday, came from southern aristocracy, schooled to be a dentist, moved west due to Tuberculosis. He had dexterous hands, knowledge of human anatomy, and a terminal illness with little fear of death. All made him one of the deadliest killers ever.

The man who lets them leave Doc at his ranch, is the legendary Charlton Heston.

Val Kilmer not even getting an Oscar nod for this performance will forever go down as one of the greatest tragedies in cinema history!

1:50 There's a distinction between cowboys and "The Cowboys". The first describes a way of life and a job, the second describes an organized a gang

I cannot get over on why Val never got an Oscar. Time for posthumous award. RIP Val Kilmer

"Are you going to do something? ...or just stand there and bleed." That is a STONE COLD line...dang

The legend of the OK Corral grows in the telling, mythologizing it, but yes, this is a true story.

Lots of actors have portrayed Doc Holliday over the years, but Val Kilmer owned this role. It's a disgrace that he didn't get an Oscar.

A true genuine American story 100%

Look up the real history of Tombstone, Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp... this is real American history. 💖

Val Kilmer went above and beyond for this role. He hired someone who specialized in the accents, and speech of the time to get down how he should sound. He hired someone to teach him about Tuberculosis and how it would've affected someone back then. He hired someone to teach him how to "gunsling" it.... He NAILED this part.
