Deano, what a fantastic set of videos. I am just starting the exact same conversion and was a little apprehensive before seeing them. Still have no idea about the electrical side of it so might have to get some help with that, otherwise you have now filled me with confidence. Keep the vids coming.

I've watched all the build videos and thought they were a true reflection of us DIY guys giving something new a go and you did what looks like a great job Deano.
I'm looking to do something very similar myself, so your videos will help me too.
All the best and keep the great content coming....

What a great video.  Just what I was after. Straight forward advice and costings

This is absolutely fantastic watch for me been looking to convert my mk8 transit but shitting me self what to do how to do where to go places to buy from and iv look at loads of content on here but this is the best by far. Have to say I am looking to get a van and have looked at so many and they all seem very standard inside but I have to say the inside of yours is stunning and is convincing me more to do one myself. Thank you

great break down. i got a transit custom swb that am starting to do at the moment. its the first video i have found of yours so will go back to see what can learn from what you have done - going to carpet the door side of the van tonight lets see how that goes :)

I work out my ford transit custom 69 plate conversion it came much much cheaper than buying one all converted out £30,000 -?  because i did it i know were all the fixings are
Wireing is so wont have difficulties in repairing or replacing so deano you probley saved ££££££££ well done 👏 👍

Wow fantastic I’ll be following you both I’m just about to start this journey I think that’s very informative and give you a ball park figure cheers

Great  van well worth the money and the graft , ovs a great team effort 😂 enjoy your adventures

dont forget most motorway services have free showers

Think you did well for the cost, a lot of people drop £20k+ on a fully built, I’d be happy with that, I literally have a insulated & carpeted transit custom with a Bluetti that I charge at work , I stay in it every month or so for a few days at a time, little mods here and there, I am picking up a new bed system for it tomorrow mind and then il take inspiration and get the wife to manufacture the covers for some memory foam for it 💪🏻🤘

Might cost a few chunks, but you'll make lots of memories and adventures with it!! Also make sure you're servicing it every 8,000 miles to prolong the life of the wetbelt 😅 and change the belt every 60k miles 😊

Thanks for sharing. We picked up our transit custom last weekend.  Nice to know whats gona cost the most and what to expect.  I think my build will cost more as we want a pop top fitted which will set us back a fair bit! £!

I think that’s a decent price considering how much you will save in the long run. I’ve binge watched all these videos as I want to do my own

Great advice we are going to go for this setup. The wife loves the cushions would you consider making some exactly the same for us

Nice one mate you did well for the cost. I'm dreading adding mine up and I'm still spending 😂.

My Van has twin sliding doors and I also use it as a work van so I do not have carpeting. I only have 1 window ( opening) I have 1 x 190W Solar, 2 115AH AGM batts and DC to DC charger. I bought some used Kitchen units. I made my bed ( Single) as it hinges up so I can fold it out of the way. It is all insulated and I used like a foam interlocking mats for the floor. I haven't added up exactly but I think it was under £1500

I have just done my windows!! Like you I'm now having to get a man in to sort the opening window ..... and after you saying the carpet was an a**e I'm also getting someone to do that lol

Can you do a van tour

Just found you and subbed, will watch the rest, to  have it done professionally I was quoted £20k plus..

Didn't you have a shower/toilet installed?
