Welcome to the Magnificent 7, a brand-new route created by the team at Adventure Bike Rider that stitches together seven of the greatest roads in England, taking in some of the most breathtaking scenery this country has to offer.
In this film, James and Billy ride the full route from start to finish to answer one simple question: can England finally stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's most iconic road trips?
Over the next 47 minutes, you'll follow them across the rolling moorland and mountain passes of the Yorkshire Dales, the North Pennines, and the Lake District, along the seven roads that come together to make the route.

2. Buttertubs Pass, The Famous One
3. Chapel Fell, The High One
4. Hartside Pass, The Long One
5. Crummock Water, The Wet One

The Tyres - 27:05
Both bikes were fitted with Eurogrip RoadHound Tyres, the rubber that kept James and Billy planted across every one of the seven roads, whatever the English weather threw at them.
The Bikes - 36:50
James rode the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+, Yamaha's do-it-all sports-tourer, a natural fit for a route built around fast, flowing roads.
Billy rode the Yamaha Tracer 7 GT: lighter, punchy, endlessly capable, and proof you don't need litres of capacity to make the most of the Magnificent 7.

Great part of the world, even Co Durham which you did not mention. Co Durham āTeesdaleā is worthy of a mention as you rode though.

Being a Blackburn lad, I feel I should add that Alfred Wainwright was born in Blackburn and lived on Audley Range. And also why our local brewery Thwaites gave his name to their amber ale, which you would probably like served warm Bill š.

I regularly ride on the backroads upto the Scottish Borders and back in a day, but may try this route next time.
