Back these days dragons were made of chocolate.

This was the best voice actress they ever had for Lara

Back when I was a kid the CGI seemed so realistic

Don't u think u hv seen enough 😏
Total Badass 😂😂😍

Basically, Lara traveled all over the world to get that golden key for the Chinese wall. Girl, use a hammer next time!

TR 2 is my favourite.

It hit a sweet balance on interesting gameplay, difficult yet solvable puzzles, and a reasonable game length. The game was much more polished than TR 1, yet the puzzles and map designs were not as abstruse as TR 3 (London was a big mess imo) and TR 4 (It got really confusing since the armor seeking plot, and Cairo onwards was just frustrating.)

Sound design was on point in this game

„…he confided to me that he was enlighted“

Brother Chen: 🙌

This game is LOADED with Indiana Jones references.  The Venice boat area, the airplane ejection in the snowy mountains, the car chase,  and many more smaller references.

2:45 Le Serpent Rouge music would fit well here

when i was a kid it was rumored you could see Laura croft naked in tomb raider 2, me and my friends tried everything we could to unlock the "special cut-scene" but to no avail, ah the memories, i love tr

Bruh, the dialogue is hella good for the time. Impressive.

Thank god for the subtitles! I was finally able to understand what they were saying in some of the cutsecenes! The fake thick foreing accents muffled by the background noise track and some of the cryptic dialogue ("with the tommy-gun on my keyring" WTF is that supposed to mean?) made it soooo hard to understand what they were saying. Also, LOL, just noticed that the music during the ritual scene is totally the Temple of Doom played in reverse!

Anyone ever notice that the sounds of the opening battle scene are taken from the Battle Of Stirling Bridge from Braveheart? I always thought that was cool. :D

1998. I was 6 when I rented tomb raider 2 as a kid. Playing the croft manner lever gives me a relieve after a bad day in kindergarten back then. As an adult from an exhausted day. It cheers me up cause graphics were awesome

I like this Golden Dragon! The dagher had to be Lara's first ever trophy to keep at home i guess :)

Her absolute badass attitude is what I miss the most in the new games. She was such a raw and straight up no-BS woman. I got an anti-hero sort of vibe from the original Lara; she wasn't evil, but I didn't see her as some flawless hero either.

I never really thought about it as a kid, but how did Lara hold her breath all the way down to the Maria Doria? And how did she not get crushed by the pressure lol? It doesn't make a lick of sense why they're using submersibles but she can just.. hold her breath. Doesn't matter of course, but it's funny playing it now and thinking wtf, how

Tombraider 2 is the best game in the franchise in myhonest opinion, it deserves an official remake!
