No, I wouldn't wish 4 hair on my worst enemy, I mean, no, I don't want my enemy to have such beautiful and versatile hair. 😆

But why this obsession with ‘sleeking back’ type 4 hair? Type 4 hair isn’t sleek, and it doesn’t need to be. Forcing it into styles it was never meant for is just internalized texturism, and honestly, it looks lazy. Our hair has its own beauty and its own styles.

They hate their hair because they want it to do things it wasn’t meant to do. Like girl what do you mean “slick back?” Let your hair do what it does! I have 4b/4c hair and it flourishes because I leave it alone.

Bone straight hair (like some Chinese women) hair can’t hold a curl, but is anyone gonna say their hair is bad? Why is the litmus test for “good hair” being the curliest hair staying straight but not the straightest hair staying curly?

Encouraging black women to love their natural hair, is called “policing”. There is no hope. Thr aunties had problems with bleaching their skin, and we woke up. Now we as the future aunties will have issues not covering our hair. When will it end.

Omg I rock my Afro 24/7 365 days a year. I work in law. I also attend university. I look good and I get compliments daily. I am well paid too.

I love my 4c hair.  I take not more than 10 minutes in the morning to moisturize my fro and oil my scalp. I don’t even wear a cap at night and my hair is just fine.

I can't remember her name for some reason 🙆🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ but I watch a lot of her content, she also does these dance moves that we thought only cartoon characters could do 😅, just a fabulous and gorgeous black lady. People in her comments were excited for black people doing cosplay, because our hair is a shape shifter 😂😂😂

The way they hate it wen they realise some of us love our 4c😂😂😂😂....its as if we aren't allowed to love ur hair

6:49 Black women themselves hate it too though and thats the issue. I told a coworker I love her hair and that it looks so cute. She always wears box braids. When I tell you she said “Ewwugh!!” And gave me the most disgusted look😣. Me, standing in front of her with thick, natural coils smh. She said “Why do people keep saying that!?” I say “Cause you look good!!! The hell you mean!?” She said thank you. I get back to my desk and it’s a little note saying “Thanks for the compliment☺️” smfh an older lady too maybe 35-40 like girl………….. love yourself, see the beauty in who you are and how you were made! I think the self haters want it to be a "black hair" problem so they can avoid accountability and blame. "My hair is ugly because I hate and neglect it" has to become "My hair is ugly because it's 4c" as a cope.

My favourite style is a flat twist in the direction I want my hair to fall and then remove them the next day. A flat twist never fails me. 🙂
