If you get tired of your hair go to a hair stylist and get a reset. Mostly likely you need a hair cut, to clarify and deep conditioning treatment. Afterwards you will feel like you have a whole new head of hair that will be easier to style. But this only works if you actually know and love your hair.
I was watching a similar discussion on another channel and someone pointed out that other races and textures also has struggle with their hair, they just are not as vocal about it.
This may be a little off topic and my opinion may rub some people the wrong way but, I'm never gonna say I hate my type 4 hair. In fact, I love it. Can't imagine any othr texture on my head. I see no reason to project the dislike and hate. No other race feels the need to openly hate their hair, even when they do struggle. It's embarrassing. You can be fustrated, but to say "hate" is wrong for me. People need to stop expecting their hair to behave like a different texture 😅.
Not trying to police language, but surly people can see how bad it looks. Once you get into it, caring for and doing type 4 hair is therapeutic. Great vid, thumbs-up.
i wash my hair everyday an afro looks more intentional since i am lazy and i dont want people saying i look like the polar express girl i like that my hair never dry dry and i don't get knots
7:20 I'm not an expert by any means, but that porosity test is not very accurate from what I've read (And i've tried) ways to tell your porosity on healthy hair, is how long your hair takes to get wet, how long it takes to dry, if your hair absorbs products or it stays on top, the temperature of the water also plays a role. 😆
