Such a dream studio, congrats!

This post touched my heart and then the C.S. Lewis post at the end clinched it! God spoke to me through you. Don’t know where you stand spiritually but wow! Last year in march, we had to give up the most perfect house/art cabin and piece of country property that we had offered on/had been accepted. Then my dear husband got laid off the day after he turned 55. We were going to retire there and I’d finally have the perfect cabin studio-it had all the things. Well my mom said it never felt right to her. We had to give it up, sell our big old house in town, move to remote Michigan and accept a reluctant job transfer. We just experienced the worst winter in 100 yrs here. A big detour in my art journey, with a sabbatical away from our passions-hubs was a YouTuber musician and hasn’t opened his guitar for a year and I had to store my art stuff away for this whole time…but I have been refined in the solitude. We are Not our studios, we steward them and may find ourselves painting outside, in a basement, or a gorgeous studio. You are a grateful girl-it reads loud and clear-and I am so delighted for you to have this comfortable cocoon to paint in. You give me hope that someday soon I will revisit my passion. You have gifted me your gratefulness. It is contagious…well done, good and faithful!❤

My husband said you should have a separate shut off for your water supply outside. One that drains back into the ground, that way you don’t have to turn the water off in the whole house. A plumber can fix that for you! 😊. I just found your channel. I can’t tell you how much encouragement you are giving me to just go for it and pursue my dreams ❤

This is amazing!  I’m in my dining room with an easel and a cart.  We just purchased a cabinet so I can store most of my supplies… one day I’ll get a dedicated space.  Thanks for sharing your studio….its perfect!! 😊

I had to leave my studio when I moved from my last house. It was so sad. There is no place to put one where I live now. When I packed everything up, I was shocked to see how many supplies I had!

Your shed art studio is so wonderful thank you for sharing! Would love to see how you make art prints and package paintings to be shipped if you have time, I understand you are a busy mom.
