Lucas has one of the best moves in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. but the way it even exists is known by very few people, so I explain it in this video. Shout outs to the lucas discord for some of the information, as well as Bubbs for being the best DJCZ user at top level. Also Mother 3 is a very good game.

That snake is so important he’s in Lucas’s profile render.

7:32 From what i know, the “Grab” button in ultimate isn’t programmed to be a command to Grab, but to press shield and attack simultaneously, which leads to grab. My guess is that holding a direction briefly tricks the game into thinking you’re doing an aerial, as directional inputs can override each other. If you’ve ever flicked the left stick and cstick in opposite directions midair at the same time, i think it’s that quirk. Basically the stick input lets the grab ride on the higher priority of the A button. I’m not 100% sure this is the exact explanation but it’s what I assume is going on

This is a damn good video for a dude with 100 subs. Well researched, well produced, not a single flub that I can find/notice, very professional. Keep up the great work man, this is easily walt/Silintor quality.

The problem with djc zair combos is, that you put in all that work to learn this, just to make Lucas look like he's having a fucking seizure

0:11 I genuinely believe Bubbs will get top 8 at a major here soon. He just got 4th at a regional this past weekend, and he absolutely has what it takes

4:20 ahhh yes, the character everyone wants to kick off of a cliff. Why am I not surprised that he is exempt from the rules?

"This is how jumps works in real life"
Is Einstein really dead?!?
Excellent video! The frickin chapter transitions giving me PTSD for the awful chapter text crawls from Mother 3 lol.
