Bret handled your patronizing attitude and questions very well.

The part about Irvine Welsh is so goddamn short it really doesn't justify putting his name in the video's title BUT I have to admit it was hilarious

Thank you. This one was a million times better than the New Yorker interview. I think his approach about the coverage of Trump is very essential and somehow underrated.

I would watch the whole interview but I have to return some videotapes :-)

You can really see where Bale successfully mimics Ellis in American Psycho. The half smile lip nerve, the sleazy american (broad) accent.

Bret is great, As a GenX American child of Irish Immigrants, there is nothing worse than milk toast self hating liberal Irishman. You seem to have missed the entire point of his book.

Your opening quote, I just read that last night.

Bret's boyfriend must be a young 20 something Gen-Z if he cant remember living before modern day internet. Plenty of millennials are over 40 and the idea of dping your shopping in brick and mortar stores isnt alien ffs...

No, Bret—we WEREN’T overreacting.
Trump was horrible for America.
For many reasons—including his court appointments, which will be with us for decades.
By the way, they’re coming for gay rights next.
