i have changed many bikes from 400cc to 1200 cc. Now i have the 368G, is the most pleasant bike i had.

You’ve helped reinforce what I was already telling myself, and after years of riding streetfighters, hyperbikes and many tuned big singles, I’ve sold my owned-from-new Interceptor 650 and will be buying a new Zontes 368G 😎

Just picked up the Honda ADV350 today. I've owned several Honda bikes in the past and they never let me down, so I stick to the known reliability.

What a great review, been deciding which scooter out of these two I would like over the past few weeks, having trouble getting my leg over my present bike,( old age ), so now going back to a scooter. Had the 650 Suzuki Burgman, also a Honda 300 Forza in the past, both enjoyable to ride. Now I know which one I would like, the Honda ADV, it was the servicing period between the two that finally swung it, thanks Rob.

Another useful review. Thank you Rob. Great to see so many people are talking about and buying scooters now. Your videos have done a great job in showing just how useful and desirable they are. Honda, Zontes, Yamaha, Piaggio/Vespa etc etc… I love them all for what they are and I’m delighted we have so much choice now.

Hi Rob, I appreciate your videos for older riders. I started with scooters in my late 50s, only because my wife needed the car for her job. I’m an expat living in South Korea and was teaching at a rural university. When she had the car, I was kinda stuck. I started with a small Honda 60cc, air-cooled. But I wanted to explore the country and bring my wife along. I’ve never had a fascination with any motorcycle. Some look cool but I though a scooter was a better, cheaper, more economical, and easier prospect the buying another car getting a moto. Plus, scooters are KING IN ASIA. Anyway, from the Honda, I went to Kymco and then Sym, both 125cc. The former was good, but the latter was not so good. Then I bought a new 2023 300cc Yamaha Xmax Techmax. That was great. It had enough power (I’m definitely not a speed demon) and the tech was nice. Only drawback was it wasn’t especially comfortable on long rides. In Korea, dealerships won’t even allow you sit on a new scooter, let alone take it for a test ride. So, you can't see how you fit on it until the money's been handed over and you get your documents. Then you can do whatever you want. I’m 6’2” and the leg room was a bit of a problem. I really doubt I would have bought it IF I were allowed to sit on it. The stepper angled forward footrest was really tough. That pretty much left me with my feet staying flat. Nevertheless, I just sold it after 3 years and 29,000km and bought the 2026 Zontes 368G, which should be delivered in the next day or two.

One of your topics (in Zontes 368G vs Honda ADV video) related to Zontes being new and could have teething issues and supply problems. In Asia, not so much in Korea yet, Zontes is a prince quickly growing in popularity. So, Kings Honda and Yamaha are going to have up their game. The parts and servicing may not be an issue in Asia as it could be in other parts of the world, like in Europe. The native English expats in Asia, whom I’ve seen on YouTube, who have reviewed the Zontes 368G, don’t mention that all the information on the screen as distracting. I think, as I may see, most of the information will just become background noise, after some time riding it. I recommend watching Jake Snow’s Zontes 368G Review [After 5,000 km]. It’s really good and only about 28 minutes, and it’s very comprehensive. His other videos compare the Honda ADV, Xmax and Zontes 368G. He lives in Thailand. Lastly, I had strong reservations about buying a new Chinese scooter. I’ve gone through a year of reviews. Problems in the 2025 version seemed to have been addressed in the 2026 model. And the 2026 has cruise control but the forward and aft camera are becoming a must in a country where most cars have them now for traffic accidents. That is especially critical in country where traffic laws are essentially suggestions, it’s smart to have video evidence.  But the features for the price, it is just too good to miss. Then I thought, hang-on, I’m an iPhone user and have been for years. it was made in China. So, I took a punt. I thoroughly love riding. The Korean countryside and coastlines are gorgeous. A Fair and balanced comparison. GREAT NEWS the 2026/7 Zontes 368G Enduro is now available in UK dealers,  With updates to looks , cruise control , heated seats, new rear suspension for a plusher ride, even better LCD display. Its lighter too thanks mainly to a new exhaust silencer . All this while still being the same platform underneath. Its a brilliant evolution.  More than any of 'us' dealers expected.  Right Im off to film our walk round video.

For off road you overlooked the Zontes front wheel which is a major plus point also when passing along pot holled roads.

I watched tons of videos when I decided I needed a scooter like this. I like the Zontes, but I bought a Voge motorcycle two years ago, and based on my experience with that, I ruled it out as an option. There was no lubrication on the axles; after a few months, rust spots appeared; sometimes it wouldn’t start for some reason, and it would only start after many attempts. And most importantly! When I needed a part, the importer had to order it from Italy (I live in Hungary), and that took a very long time. The warranty looks great on paper, but they were very lax about it—when I had a problem, they’d say they’d deal with it later when I brought it in for service, and so on.
So I was left with the Honda ADV 350 and the SYM ADX300. I ended up choosing the Honda because there are far more accessories available for it, and they’re easier to find. Plus, service and parts are readily available.

Thanks the Zontes drew my attention with it's price point when it was introduced.
My Forza 125 is great companion but a bit twitchy long haul or with pillion.
I go to vintage bike meets and I would love a 250 Super dream or Benly.
Modern riding has higher demands as tech has moved on. As an older rider I rely on traction control and better brake and lights.. So I don't part with my money at auctions anymore.
There is a twenty three plate ADV at local dealer. On the strength of what learned here, possibly empty my pockets and grab a bargain.

Insightful and entertaining analysis, after having just bought a C400GT (due in part to your report on it) its a great mind exercise weighing up the pros and cons of the Scooter universe,Zontes seems very tempting although I'm no fan of the styling and 3K servicing, is i think too much grief,the Honda as is well know across their range stands for quality and longevity its still hard not to use HP as a deciding factor though! looking forward to the recalibration process with the GT! Keep up the great videos!

Nice one Sir, and meaningful! In the 60's scooters were mostly Italian tru-step throughs or a sprinkling of other 'foriegn' makes! One I now own was the Honda Spacy 250, it had little history but could hitch a ride already on Honda's prowess! Had you tested it alongside the Zontes I expect your summary would be near identical - low tech but delivers by the spadefull! Poor old Zontes have come up against one of the finest manufacturers planet earth has ever known so to get 9/10 is pdg! Looking at used prices locally of all their bikes illustrates just what an uphill task they have!

Great video Rob, you come across really well. I currently commute on my trusted Yamaha Xmax 300 and I’m looking at getting a new bike at some point. I’ve been considering both bikes you’ve reviewed, but I’d probably lean towards the Honda. The only thing I’d add is a waterproof scooter leg cover, which works well on my type of bike, but perhaps wouldn’t suit an adventure scooter.

Hi rob great  summary regarding both bikes I couldn't agree with you more on both as for the zontes great price for what you get but could be to good to be true in the future as for the honda say no more the badge says it all reliable a connection and not too much technical stuff thrown in I'm pretty much on the same road with my burgman which I love turn the key of you go no distractions regarding the bike.I personally think the zontes is just a bit of a showpiece and a fashion statement but obviously there will be people that want that type of machine brilliant summary look forward to the next rob

Great review Rob. I like the fact that the Zontes has brought some real competition against the Honda. Hopefully this will bring greater research and development from Honda, to drive the sector forward.

The Zontes looks good and it’s a tempting package. However, long term ownership values means the Honda wins it for me. Less frequent services, proven reliability and  6 warranty says a lot. If you wanted to, better resale value.

Really good review again  Rob, I must admit the zontes looks pretty good  and loads of extras but for me personally the honda brand wins, i'm seriously thinking of getting one and hope soon to have a test ride, i doubt i could test ride a zontes as I could probably find rocking horse manure easier but I don't mind as hondas backup and reliability outlays all.

I think service and importing  parts will be a long term problem. A dealer in Northern Ireland  has stop selling them because of this. Great comparison.

Great review.  Enjoyed the breakdown with all the different angles.  I agree with pretty much everything you pointed out.  The big one for me is the difference in price.  If the Honda was closer in price then I'm leaning Honda but the delta is just massive and on top of that you get all them extra options like heated grips it just makes the zontes more appealing
