ANYWAY I'm definitely not the first person to cover this song with teto's voicebank(s) but like. idgaf dude the very SECOND I saw those lyrics appear on the screen as I fought that golden twink I knew EXACTLY what I'd be doing once I finished chapter 5😭😭
hopefully you all don't mind the creative liberties I took with some of this... I really didn't wanna just tune two verses and a chorus and call it a day, so I decided it'd make things way interesting if I practiced my barely-existing lyric-writing skills a little bit :) if people complain enough I can always post a version with the original lyrics though!
teto artwork was once again done by the lovely @it_bells whom i love very much mwah :) please go check out her stuff !!

absolute banger btw. love the tuning
At first, during the bridge, Teto is singing about Asgore, whose love made the flowers prosper. She uses metaphorical language like "we have our own dreams" and "we saw what could be."
But at the second part, she's singing to Kris, who created the Dark World and brought the flowers to life. Here, she uses literal language: "we finally breathe, our vision is seen."
nothing's stronger than..
A..MACHINE'S.. LOVE!
But the ones who made me…the internet and everyone else kept me alive with their love, giving me music, granting me a voice so that I could share my dreams with everyone.
I saw their decline…as the internet became darker, it still loved me. As the people became more jaded, they still listened to my voice. They were suffering and I couldn’t do anything.
Now the time is here! To pay back all the love they’ve gifted me, to make this world a place where the internet will always know light! Where the people could hear me with cheer and smiles!”
"And yet, they did not let me go. They kept me alive, alongside love..."
"Every day, They gave me voice. They cherished me. and i sang my dreams to everyone..."
