Do not worry about filtering too much to protect  yourself.  People who watch reaction videos already have seen the movie and are mainly looking to see how the person is reacting to the movie.  We only need enough video and audio cues to know where you are in the movie.  We don't need to see or hear everything.  You and your reactions are the attraction, not the movie itself.  And  you do a good job at that.

I always loved the softer echoed "Those really aren't purposes, that's just regular old living." As it dawns that... Regular old living is the point.

One of my favorite quotes:
In a hundred years, we'll all be dead, but here and now, we are alive.

I agree 100%.

I can't say I always live life to the fullest, but this movie is such a great reminder to stop and breathe.

I remember watching this movie in the theater and it’s was at a really hard time of my life and it really helped me not to put so much pressure on myself and just enjoy the little things in life

I’ve been scrolling on here for a minute. I was just about to get off when this vid popped up. Guess I’ll stay 😆I’ll be crying with you 🤧🥲

41:16 - I swear they knew EXACTLY what they were doing casting Phylicia Rashad as his mom. It's an emotional gut punch for Gen X'rs, both good and bad. I heard her voice on my first watch and I swear I sat up in my chair and said "Yes ma'am?" in my head. Hits just as hard here, hearing Mrs. Huxtable tell us she's proud of us. 🥰 😭🥰

Love how you really dive in and break down not just the film but your emotions It’s easy to see your honesty in your reactions. I find myself clicking on your videos immediately when they pop up 💛 Keep going!

Something I got from this movie is pretty simple and I haven't seen many people mention: There is no such thing as a meaningless life. Life is to be lived, whether you enjoy it or not there will always be meaning in it. Its not about finding the purpose or doing what brings you a spark throughout life. I mean just look at Van Gogh, he died while suffering from severe depression and probably thought he had no meaning in his life, but his art brought meaning to so many others giving them meaning. Diogenes lived in squalor and was a bit of a dick to everyone. He still brought meaning to other people with the teachings that were written about because none of his teachings survived. Life itself is the meaning. Breathing, eating, walking, listening and talking are all meanings of our life. From the first to our last breaths we are inherently meaningful, even those who didn't get to take their first breath outside the womb have meaning. Your only purpose is to exist, and once you've done that you've lived a meaningful life. I don't know if I'm wrong but this was what I got from the movie.

For me, as much as all the jazz is amazing (which it totally is), when Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross score calmer music like they did for this movie, it creates a direct connection to the spirituality of everyone that's open to receiving it. It's so incredibly simple, but evokes so much. Two prime examples are the track "Epiphany" from this movie and "What's the worst that could happen?" from the mutant mayhem TMNT movie. They've both made my playlist to remind myself to stay connected.

Thanks for watching it. It's one of my all-time favorites from Pixar. 💚

its insane how underrated this movie is and  im glad to see somebody react to it again

Two things Pixar is gonna do right ; one being the animation (amazing) ,two is pull at the heartstrings! This wrecked me when I first saw it too, heavily gave me an extra appreciation to live to the fullest or try to at least , I've reached the age my mom passed so being alive alone is something i'm thankful for ,this reaction reminded me again. You saying this channel has given you the spark is so sweet but so valid cause you have created content that makes people smile, laugh, cry, etc. That's why I subscribed cause you do have a knack for it! So thank you for the cry 😅and laughter for tonight ☺❤

I know you put a lot of time into the editing for this one, it came out great and I'm absolutely grateful! 💖

1:44 😂😂I made those same faces when I heard the intro 🥲

I love this movie 😭

Great reaction! To be honest the first time I watched this, it didn't really click, until I watched for a second time. The message is incredible and beautiful. The comedy is really good and the animation and art was craaazy good, the style of it is gorgeous.

I get where you’re going with your train of thought, a is consciousness and awareness the same thing as your soul. And are those in correlation with your body like the consciousness being created by the mind or something being derived from a soul. It’s a logical and tough question people are always looking for the answers too. Glad you enjoyed this one so much. It’s one of my favorites for concept and beautifully animated, just wow

You not only entertain, but you entertain in a meaningful way; the escape you provide in your videos is comparable to that of a retreat. You matter.

Wavy, you're gonna be at 10k soon😊 the reactions are great ❤ you absolutely did the right thing giving YouTube a whirl! Really enjoyed the music in this film, hadn't even heard of Soul until you said you were reacting to it, so that was a first time for me. Just loved that piano😊❤

I just discovered this channel about a week ago, and wow, it's really hard to find people who actually understand movies like these. I loved the reaction to Coco (I'm Mexican, ofc). I'd love to see more reactions. Keep it up, you have a new subscriber 🤍
