How Many Tracks Could My Honda Civic Beat in Mario Kart DS?

For months, I've tried to see how many Nintendo games I could beat as just a regular human! Today though, we'll be testing something else from the real world. How many tracks could my Honda Civic beat in Mario Kart DS?

Through rigorous testing, we placed each track in a tier list determining the feasibility of their completion. While some are more debatable than others, it was fun to look back on some nostalgic courses from my childhood.

Time Stamps:
0:00 Intro
1:08 Mushroom Cup
3:24 Shell Cup
5:53 Flower Cup
7:45 Banana Cup
10:22 Star Cup
13:06 Leaf Cup

Every additional fact these videos reveals makes your life so much wilder. "Oh I dunno if that's gonna be possible to climb... OH YOU'RE RIPPED" "Wow that's some formulas, how did you figure those YOU'RE A MATH TEACHER" the most widely varied yet absurdly specialized man on YouTube.

Mentioning "7 more horrifying turns" when discussing Baby Park, given that it was just established we're only looking at one lap, finally confirms my long-held belief that Baby Park is not a simple circuit, but in fact a deceptive and harrowing journey through hyperbolic space

I like how this video is actually about the honda civic and the honda civic only

like with the sand there was no "oh but if you had a car capable of driving on sand it would be different" nope we just moved right along

The png of the civic makes this video ten times better

There's two ways you can look at the rainbow road circuit

1. It's in space, less gravity, meaning it'd probably be easier for your car to take the loop and the drop
2. it's in space...

I love that the honda civic can't handle sand and water but it can apparently handle outer space just fine lol

I love the not sponsored disclaimer, as if honda is going to start a marketing campaign for the 2018 civic by sponsoring a nintendo youtuber

i love the editing of keeping the car over the kart so simple yet so funny

Mechanic here. Your civic would totally be fine at those light drops in Luigi’s circuit. At most you’d whack the subframe, your engine would be completely safe. Your suspension most likely wouldn’t be dead after even doing all 6 drops throughout the 3 laps too. It’s a Honda so you’ll be alright.

Edit:Fixed ALL my boneheaded spelling errors 😂

7:16 don’t forget about the pinballs the size of a house that would turn your Honda civic into a pancake

18:40 I don't know how much of a difference it would make but rainbow road takes place in space

As someone who has to deal with a lot of snow, Frappe Snowland is probably straight impossible. While it is possible the snow on the sides is deep enough to help cushion your fall, the real problem is that your Honda Civic is now going to be stuck in snow instead. Even presuming you want to dig yourself out, that sounds like a nightmare. Of course, if it isn't deep enough for that, you get to the original problem of the fall.

Enjoyed the video!

17:25 pretty sure Honda didn’t design the Honda Civic to ensure the vacuum of space.

the real runkiller for rainbow road is the lack of atmosphere. not only are you suffocating, but your internal combustion engine isn't combusting
sky garden however is clearly in the sky, and while your car might struggle, depending on the altitude the air wouldn't be an inherent runkiller

7:30 "Following proper traffic laws"
Proceeds to pass in a tunnel around a blind corner with oncoming traffic entering the tunnel (thus having reduced visibility). But I don't think they cover green shells in driver's ed so it's prrrobably okay

Wet sand is actually going to be more compact than dry sand. Nascar used to race on a track that ran on the beach and the road along the coast. The drivers from the era said the beach closer to the ocean was more packed and better to drive on

8:46 I feel like if you dropped into the snow here, while your car would survive the drop, it would get stuck in the snow and need assistance in getting out. I don't know if that scenario would count against this.

9:28 - My brother in Christ, the lava is like five feet from the grating. Those tires are cooked. Literally. And you're probably next.

They should make a Luigi cup, featuring Luigi Circuit, Luigi Circuit, Luigi Circuit and Luigi Circuit

Mud doesn’t need to be very deep at all to get you stuck. At a previous job a coworker got our 4WD truck stuck in the middle of a soccer pitch after a storm.
