Searching for anti-cuts (AC) seems like an innocent person trying to sneak into prison.

the fact that the first track ever made for Mario Kart is also the one to be lapped around the most amount of times through glitches sounds funny

JOPES IS THE LAP-DRIVING GOAT 🎉🎉
Congrats on this record, that takes an insane amount of dedication, not knowing if it's even possible to do.

you could probably beat the record if you used mushrooms during the endless lap 3... 🙊🙊

New Mario Kart category unlocked: How many laps of Mario Circuit can you get in 10 minutes

@Kass686 1 month ago

This 21-lap record is so impressive dude, not only because you kept driving after the race should've finished, but because you KNEW something like this could exist out there and you chased it until you found the answer. Even if this gets patched, major props to you for finding it!!!

I imagine the two checkpoint systems exist because they were testing what worked properly and felt right, and when they decided they wanted all sections to be checkpoints they just left the key checkpoint system in the game because it was easier than going through the effort of removing them.

19:35 whoa amazing use of subtitles!! I’ve never seen that, where you put a “__” in and then filled it in with perfect timing to not spoil the result. Nifty.

But what implications does this hold on the declining trout population?

At the checkpoint, don’t skip it

13:40 The race positions (1st,2nd) are likely calculated based on the checkpoint edges. Add a second player. after being dropped off by lakitu move the second player forward to find the position on the track where having that player move causes the position to change, then you can to draw that line

10:21 Neither is M.K.8, modding doesn’t require a decomp, if that was the case only a few dozen games could be modded. The problem is that people haven’t found a way to install custom firmware on the Switch 2 yet.

New Jopes video about checkpoints? Cool, more broken Mario Kart 8-
looks inside
Oh my god…

Hmm my theory for why the race doesnt end on mario circuit is because you never checked the anti cut checkpoint that got skipped unlike with crown city where you drove the same track again.
so if you were to go back to lap 2 on mario circuit and check it and drive back to the finish line after it would count.
