This is because the majority of people who occupy those buildings are illegal immigrants. His answer is correct though because the governments from their respective counties are what led to them migrating to South Africa for better conditions. To them there is a better chance at survival here than in their own countries in Africa.

I am 58 years old and living in Gauteng (Johannesburg) for the last 25 years and I have never seen this part of Johannesburg. Thank you for making this video it was very informative and impressive. I applaud you for your courage and for your friendliness with our people. Yes there are very dangerous criminals in the city but most people are just trying to survive in a bad economy and struggling with life in general. This was very well done and I will be watching your other "episodes" as well. Thank you once again.

Hey Zazza I am from South Africa. Thank you for covering the story. Where there’s a lot of police, it is because the were illegal foreigners who have trading illegally and they were recently removed. They even took the Mayor of Johannesburg to Court. It is a serious crisis and we thank people like you who come and cover such stories. It is very hard filming in the city because of illegal things happening.

5:40 hermano esto es ORO, los que como yo pensamos aaaa bueno con 10 guarda espaldas entro yo tambien donde sea ! nos callo la boca , porque ? , otro youtube NUNCA mostraria ese fragmento , es decir vos no tenes ninguna intencion de esconder siquiera que si pasa algo es mejor para tu contenido y lo que es mas importante te expones a facilitarlo ! la transparencia que mostras zaza compensa en mi opinion toda la falta de ``naturalidad´´ obviamente soy adulto y como argentino se muy bien que a segun que lugares NO entras si no es con guarda espaldas o directamente gente conocida que de verdad sea alguien ( no la mayoria de ñokis que te acompañaron por argentina que algunos no llegaban a pedo y se creian sorete ) , en fin , mis mas sinceros respetos y GRATITUD ante todo por la transparencia y el valor de grabar y subir esa escena.
