Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of mechanics that are never properly explained — and some of them work very differently than most players think.
In this video, I break down some of the most confusing RDR2 systems, including Dead Eye progression, unique Gunslinger weapons, horse stats, the Buck Antler Trinket, Trapper mechanics, locked weapons, gun condition, horse whistle range, outfit temperature effects, ammo types, and more.
Whether you’re new to Red Dead Redemption 2 or already have hundreds of hours in the game, there are probably a few mechanics here you’ve either misunderstood or never noticed.

One extra bonus we get from crafting our own split point bullets is a lot more ammo and faster upgraded dead eye.
If I'm not mistaken.
And always, ALWAYS carry at least a couple of that marvelous Ginseng when snakehunting.
Also when hunting those bison always opt for improved arrows because the chance for double kills! It’s wild how many times I point at a 3 star and it also kills one behind! Double the spoils!
I just use a mod to give perfect pelts all the time lol Speeds things up a lot.
