Your videos are always incredibly informative and well thought out.  I am 66 years old and retired. I have a handful of Youtubers that I would like to meet in person as my bucket list. You are definitely on that list Sir.  I live in California, but my wife’s family are all in Michigan.  We plan to move to Michigan in the next few years. That would put me within driving distance to you. Maybe someday we can sit and have a cup of coffee together. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos.

I also have both and use them equally. I can't really decide if I like one better than the other. You made a really good video, but a good and honest comparison. Thanks for that.

Another very informative useful video, thank you Mark!

Looks like a great alternative Mark. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the explanation and comparison sir, i already order a prestina

Nice!  I didn’t even know about that e Prestina, I want one now, thanks!

Thank you for the review, I have several Wacaco products and enjoy them all.

What I love about the aeropress is the ease of cleaning it with minimal water.

Prices of the aeropress stuff skyrocketed after private equity took over the company, they started introducing new lines and all these extra accessories as separate purchases and just cranked up prices to increase margin for no good reason.

Everytime I watch your videos I miss my home province (NS) wonderful country side, miss it so much

As a coffee lover & avid user of the Aeropress, thanks for this thorough review. That’s a great portable & more affordable option for traveling & wilderness use.

At home, I use V60, Chemex, Moka, and French press, but I was looking for something compact and high-quality for a trip. I was planning to buy an AeroPress but was hesitating due to the price; I looked for alternatives and came across the Prestina.

After watching your video, I know exactly what I want now. Thanks for helping me decide.
Greetings from Ecuador!

Great review, Mark. I have an AeroPress Go and like it a lot but I couldn’t believe the price difference! I agree with you - if I was buying one to start, I think I’d buy the Prestina.

Thanks for another comprehensive and informative review Mark. One comment I would make is that the Prestia will work with other mugs or cups ! I purchased an insulated keep cup from Wacaco at the same time as my Prestia and it works beautifully. Keep up the good work and enjoy your time in the outdoors.

Wowzers😳 Who knew 🤷🏻‍♂️

I must have seen one of your earliest Aeropress reviews and thought, that's not for me, expensive and I have a small 3 x espresso size Moka i'm happy to carry with a Trangia burner. A friend swore by his but as a war zone reporter he didn't have the luxury of sitting in woods or mountain side... but this review has me rethinking. Age comes into it; i look for lightness of baggage nowadays walking or cycling... thank you for your clear, and honest appraisal as usual.  Gonna have to get me one of them there Wacaco Prestinas.
Best wishes...

Wow, i never have heard of the Aeropress Go, it's expensive! I just use my regular aeropress at home, i never have taken it out but it never occurred to me either. With all the videos i watch on your channel, I still take instant coffee out with me wherever i go. Atomy is a brand my uncle got me into that has little espresso packs (that are honestly too sweet but i like them) or Nescafe if i go out with coffee. In any case, in this day and age, with the way the world is around us, it's definitely worth taking price into account when making purchases. The Prestina looks like a great little kit. Thanks for showing these off and being so well balanced against the Aeropress as well! I really enjoy your videos for the truth you speak of when you talk about these products. Thanks once again!

Wish it had an option for a paper filter. If it did I'd give it a try.

Great review as usual, Mark. You always give a fair comparison of each product. I already have the aeropress so I will stick with that, but the Prestina looks like a wonderful option. I wonder if the container could double as a cold soaking jar?

Great video.  I’ve been using the Prestina as I work away a lot and it’s great making nice coffee in hotel rooms.
The comment about having to use tbe Presitna cup feels a little redundant - with the Aeropress Go yes you can brew it in any cup but it doesn’t work as a kit without it.
I do treat the Prestina cup as part of the brewer rather than drinking from it.
But again, great video, thanks for making it.
