Just getting started with benchrest shooting. Great description of set up and use of wind flags. Would like to hear more about the basics of shooting 22 rimfire. Been trying to do this on my own due to the virus situation and its been a learning experience due to the unique nature of the sport. You do a great job and I have reviewed the video multiple times.
What a beautiful rest, could it accept a variety of stocks (hunting, chassis etc) to facilitate load developments? What make and model is it? Is it a thing of the past with new replacements today?
The shooting rest isn't even straight at the front of the bench. The front rigth foot of the rest is hanging out over the front of the bench. That's a rookie mistake for him to make in this video.
This is more about how good your equipment is and not the actual talent of the shooter. Locking the gun dow in a shooting stand and adjusting knobs to align gun to target is not my idea of how good a shooter is. Using a bag to support the rifle is better but not like just using your arms to support the gun.
