Andy Woods' Unofficial Channel

Dr. Andy Woods discusses fifteen Old Testament passages which identify the predicted Jewish Messiah. When taken together, these predictions narrow the scope of contenders to a single individual in history: Jesus Christ. This presentation was given on May 21, 2006 at Bayside Community Church in Tampa, Florida.

Pastor Woods, Mary’s lineage comes through David’s son Nathan while Joseph’s (stepdad) lineage comes through Solomon. I understood it was Mary’s lineage than counts. I understood the reason for the change was that Solomon failed to keep God’s commands so Nathan was chosen.

So good! Also Genesis 3 v 15 is the first mention of the head wound that the beast would recover from and deceive the world!! See also Habakkuk 3 v 13 and Revelation 13 v 3.

Who was the testator of the old testament? I wonder why people call it a testament.
A will and testament is to bequeath inheritance to heirs. Without the death of the testator, the testament is of no force.
