✝️ 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🇺🇸 — Dr. Andy Woods is THE MOST underrated rockstar of today’s Christian Theologians 🙏

Excellent teachings about how exegetically derived teachings compare with those derived from a theological system. This difference is the challenge in today's Christian leadership.

The trend towards CT is due to the internet. Calvinists dominate. Plus,  dispensational eschatology is tough for lazy Pastors and academia shuns fundamentalism and literalism.

Thank you Pastors for this very insightful discussion.

I have been listening to Pastor Woods since 2013 ..I have learned.more from him then all the Pastors I have heard on Facebook..I like how here brings the Hebrew and  Greek  words and  explains them ..much better understand ing

Subscribed. This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

Excellent work enjoyed the discussion.

All Glory to God 🙌🏻🦁👑🚪
I automatically think of the story of the Prodigal son while listening to this, and how jealous the brother was when the Father threw a party for the returning son. ❤❤❤

“Mystical Drawing” is 💯💯 that is exactly what I think because of the leaps they have to take to get to that belief system

Thank God that left behind heresy is being left behind

I love how Dr. Andy Woods makes deep study so understandable!

Covenant Theology seems to say "I am the LORD, I change not" and tries to harmonize everything. During my early days of going to church and bible studies, there was always this self-centric question of "how does this apply to you?" That always bugged me because while the whole bible is profitable, not everything is to be literally applied to us. Also, it always confused me how people make it seem like the majority of the bible is allegorical/poetry/symbolic.

First time reading the whole bible, I had never heard of dispensationalism or covenant theology, and hadn't been to church much, so my views weren't colored by any particular lens. I took things pretty literally. Now, I've become a dispensationalist.

Dispensationalist's motto is, 2 Tim 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Dispensationalist pastors have their bible open the whole time and back everything up with scripture, and everything is easy to understand.

Covenant theology on the other hand, is very perplexing. They say you must infer concepts that aren't there. They say works aren't works, just displays of faith. I'm currently trying to understand the scriptures they use to back up their reasonings.

Thanks y'all

A very good discussion

Love this guy, has all the biblical evidence to prove his position, just as it should be.

Steve Gregg from the Narrow path was a dispensational and read his bible for himself and changed his understanding he would be glad to talk with you.

Excellent teaching!!  When did this discussion between Mal Couch and Andy Woods take place?

Pastor Andy Woods is phenomenal! At minute  25:17 he explains why the average person gravitates towards Dispensationalism because it's easy to understand. All you need is reading comprehension! I mean, why would God make the Bible complicated? Man makes it complicated. Yet, with Replacement Theology, it's complicated and hard to understand. Most Christians coming out of seminary now (professors/students) are the ones gravitating towards replacement theology because it's coming from academic scholasticism. Which explains why John MacArthur told Ben Shapiro on his show on this same topic, you have to go to university to mess it up!

This also explains why a lot of these Bible teachers on YouTube that promote Replacement Theology (Voddie Baucham) speak in a philosophical manner. Like the Catholic priests would speak to the lowly peasants during the Middle Ages, because after all, THEY wouldn't understand the Bible anyway if they read it for themselves.
Great video!

Absolutely brilliant brilliant teaching bless you Andy woods

I'm on the rightly dividing the word of truth and the revelation of the mystery given to Paul and the gospel of grace and the finished work on the cross bandwagon.
