Today I’m reacting to Wavelength by Van Morrison for the first time. Every time I hear Van Morrison it feels deeper than just music… it feels spiritual, nostalgic, and timeless. Let’s see what “Wavelength” really sounds like and why so many people say this song is special.

This is actually one of Van’s many tributes to old school radio 📻 stations that he heard growing up ( lots of American R & B …
He , like many Irish, English and Scottish musicians, they treasure the memories of listening in the dark to these magical songs 😍😇

Van Morrison is one of the best and is definitely an R&B singer when he wants to be.

I am so happy you played this, I have been loving Van since the 1970's and have over 40 of his albums and this is one of his all time best songs. It should always be played super loud. Van will keep you busy listening for a lifetime like he has me!

Also I appreciate the fact you listen to more than one song of the Band or Artist. You really give them a chance to show their talents

The instrument is a synthesizer. They can make all kinds of cosmic sounds.

You hit it on the head it’s radio frequency in the background. We had no internet TV’s stopped broadcasting at around 2am so all we had was radio that’s what he’s talking about 😊

Don't forget to listen to: Have I told you lately that I love you. Great date song.

One of his many tributes to radio — specifically, the jazz and blues he heard growing up in Belfast

It is the waves of the "ether" between us all in life... he tried to put music to the silent vibrations we all live amidst every day and too often miss it....
