Update: I never pointed this out but I’m very much against what the victims read wanted them to do. If they thought Alex was a pedophile then they should not have sent the minor back to get more evidence, that was incredibly irresponsible and the trend of internet pedo hunters needs to stop.

Probably late, but Yandev’s deleted response was more undeveloped than his victim.

He really said ‘ I’m not a groomer just loser ’

yanderedev is the type of person to say i know a child, so i'm not a groomer

Keeping in mind for those who don't know, when this video was released in January the grooming situation actually happened, three months before. Yandev states "it happened last year" while true, makes the situation sound like it happened "ages ago."
He down played this situation from the start.

Saying "I would like to apologize for what I feel I should apologize for" just proves that the guy isn't sorry and is disingenuous in everything he says.

"YandereDev is Lying To You"
Fire is hot and water is made of two hydrogen and one oxygen atom(s).

Im kinda sad yandev didn't pull out a ukulele for his apology video

Yandere dev gaslit everyone into thinking that the “dev” in his name stood for “developer” rather than “deviant”.

Someone else has probably said it, but I'm betting that YanDev decided to release the video in 2024 specifically so he can say "last year" so it sounded like more time has passed.

"Yanderedev" and "weirdo + lying" go hand in hand, or something in hand

YandereDev completely screwing up the definition of moe and using puberty (Note: This does not mean that the person is mature enough physically or mentally for intercourse) to justify him lusting over real (keyword here) immature girls is just gross. The dude's trying to say he wasn't intentionally trying to groom a girl, while saying his ideal mate is "malleable". The point on why it's bad is because of power imbalances that lead to things like abuse, and is why some people abuse disabled people for example, because they think they can get away with it.

Why anyone with a brain would want to do things to someone they have literally nothing in common with, unless they have zero awareness to understand why it's wrong, is just gross to me. Any adult with a open welcoming fanbase of children is starting to become a red flag to me.

Yandev definitely used D.A.R.V.O down to the letter (Deny, Attack, Reverse victim and Offender)

Even more messed up: Even IF the Minor would have started to make things "spicy" it would have been in Alex responsibility to put a stop to it immediately. HE's the adult after all.
But yeah putting all the blame on the Minor is just super messed up

As the former VA for Budo, I can only say

“His ass ain’t getting into the Martial clubs now”

But also, Jesus Christ, a living example of delusions and needing to break away from the internet. When I was pulled in by Yan’s VA to voice for the game, I had just assumed he was this quiet awkward dev always working on this game that would take a while cause it was just him coding.

Now 9-10ish years later, I wish I’d have just not taken the job, on the man he became or always was.

I know I kept getting scolded by ex fans by why I didn’t see it earlier.
I honestly just didn’t, i had one irl interaction with him and that was it, I got all my lines through Yan’s VA.
It was only towards the end that my feed got filled with all that he did.
My departure should’ve been done sooner, and regret it took longer.
My heart goes out to everyone to who got hurt by this asshat, and I’m sorry I didn’t pay attention.

Thank you for keeping on top of him Orange.
Cheers.

Yanderedev 1: Young Blood
Yanderedev 2: Predator Tendency
And now, Yanderedev 3: Apathy Crusaders
Can't wait for Yanderedev 4: Code is Breakable to come out in a few months

The fact that in his response video he talks about "wanting to respect people who have actually been groomed" while claiming what he did wasn't grooming is disgusting. He doesn't respect victims. I was groomed as a preteen and teen online. One person groomed me for less than a year when I was 12 and he was 23 while another guy groomed me when I was 14 and he was 21 and it lasted until I was 19! You can absolutely groom someone even if it doesn't turn into a "relationship" or isn't long term. He groomed a minor, several in fact. It's not rocket science to understand what grooming a child is. Has he never watched TCAP?? Those people text the decoys for less than a few weeks and say similar things to what Alex has said. I think Chris Hansen would love for him to have a seat. I felt like the victim. I felt so guilty and like it was my fault, rationalizing my groomers actions, downplaying it and thinking it wasn't serious...but it was serious. What he did and what people like Alex do are disgusting. I did report the incident to the police, but because of Texas' Statute of Limitations, i would've had to report it at 16 for anything to be done about it. I really hope the victim takes legal action if she's serious about protecting others from being groomed by Alex. Knowing him, he'll never learn his lesson until he actually gets punished. The guy that groomed me also groomed a 12 year old when he was 20 and she told me what happened and felt guilty that she couldn't protect me by not warning me about it. It's a never ending cycle until those groomers get locked away. Sadly I'll never get that justice. I hope this victim does. For her sake.

Having to talk about Alex is traumatizing, hope you can recover

If Yandere dev was Pinocchio his linguine nose would stretch to the Moon for every controversy and drama that has happened both in the past and present

This was triggering for me. I was abused as a child and to this day I still blame myself.

I wish I was more aware when I was younger. Instead I protected my groomer. I deleted the messages. I lied to police.

And I regret it to this day.

That is why videos like this that untwist the flowery language of a groomer is important.

Not just for the victim but also for the groomer.

Paedophiles are sick. And they need to acknowledge that and get help for it too. (But maybe that is my unresolved feeling to my groomer talking)

Just know it doesnt matter if it makes them uncomfortable - the victim and their healing is paramount.

A victim needs to understand they were wronged in order to be able properly understand their situation and heal.

Thank you bored oranges for making videos like these.
