The pattern definitely suits the fabric - the soft lilacs work really well with the floral stitches. It’s beautiful and will be loved for a long time I think!

I love your videos! Keep making all the Sashiko videos you can. I love the idea and history behind these cloths. I find myself looking into my closest for worn out clothes on purpose so they can become cloths 😂.

I am super excited to make a placemat. I have a long way to go with practice before I want to attempt. I have to get a shasiko needle first, I’ve been practicing on a small mending needle. It makes my fingers too sore lol

I love how much like Spring this looks. A simple beautiful adornment elevates the gingham. It's not as dramatic as chicken scratch. This would really pretty with a darker shade, too. :hands-yellow-heart-red::goodvibes:

I love the table mat; the pattern and the color are just beautiful! I got a new puppy last month and haven't done any crafting since, so it's nice to watch videos and pretend I might get around to my projects sometime soon. 😆
